Went to chop down plant and started diggin in the soil and found these
Those are beetle grubs(or larva). They often will feed on your roots or even the crown of the plants.
If you’re chopping your plants I suppose they wont be a problem…however if you reuse your soil you want to sterilize it by composting…and the compost pile has to get HOT…FWIW
thank you so much yeah i looked them up i wondered why my plant grew short and started to harm during flower
Good news in my experience is you find them in good quality soil. But yes they do enjoy roots and all.
dung worms (they mostly come into your grow with the introduction of cow poop)…they will firstly go after the compost and break that up…after which they will chomp on your roots to stay alive…i have completed a number of grows with them present …to no ill effects…making sure your soil has everything it needs…
Yea but that’s a risk you take right ?
This is my cheese auto by choiceseeds how are they lookin aug 5 th it popped veg 1month and 2 1/2 weeks foower like 12 days
I do believe those are June bug larva, not dung worms…
Japanese beetle grubs.
sorry, my bad, been calling them dung worms since the early 70’s…i only get them from using fresh cow poop…
