Will you be at CWCBExpo Boston? I need your help

#1

Hey GNET @memberdirectory,

I have a huge favor to ask:

Will you be at CWCBExpo in Boston? Do you have an interest in speaking on the topic of sustainability in today’s cannabis space? If so, I really want to talk to you. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend this show but still need to assemble a panel of speakers for this totally awesome show!

If you are interested, please let me know. Thanks so very much in advance!

Happy Growing!

Show dates: October 17th-20th.

I will be attending and exhibiting. I would love to talk about all topics related to sustainability and commercial cannabis cultivation:

  • Operations energy & facility design
  • Grid scale energy demand response
  • Product & facility environment impacts exclusive of energy
  • Building energy efficiency and building envelope design
  • Life Cycle Assessment, including operations, embodied energy, and end of life environmental impacts

I wont be going but I can see if anyone from my team is. Perhaps Seth is going - he’d definitely be the best person to have speak.

Hi Nick,

I’m very interested in speaking at the Expo, and recently spoke on the sustainability panel at Yale’s Cannabis Conference this past February and CannaGrow 2018 in Palm Springs. See https://www.yalelegalcannabis.com/our-speakers/ and https://www.yalelegalcannabis.com/agenda/ and https://cannagrowexpo.com/detailedagenda/ . I’m ex-career EPA where I focused on chemicals and pesticides, started my own law firm in 2014 and now am of counsel to Verdant Law PLLC with a side cannabis environmental compliance and sustainability practice. See http://verdantlaw.com/our-team/
Please call me at 703-740-7986. I look forward to talking with you.

Best,

Hi GN,

Sorry but my agenda leaves no time for the Boston expo.

I will be visiting US distributors end of September, than a trip to Israel, and thereafter the MJBiz in Las Vegas.

See you over there.

Kind regards,

Thanks for the amazing response, GNET! I have a lot of phone calls to make and emails to send, but I’m hoping to have the panel formed by the end of the day.

Thanks everyone who stepped up! This is going to be another great sustainability in cultivation panel!

Are you going to CWCBExpo L.A.? Be sure to check out the sustainability panel we formed for that show: @Matt-TRYM will be leading the discussion on sustainable cultivation as it relates to cultivation in today’s evolving cannabis space. Nick Caston, our knowledgeable director from @GSGR will discuss the regulatory implications of cultivation operations, while Brandy Keen from Surna and the Queen of the Desert, Priscilla Vilchis will all be there to round out the sustainable cultivation conversation. This is going to be a great one!
