For 25 years at Scotia Capital I was a fertilizer analyst. In 2000, I met my now CEO John Archibald who needed $ to patent Dow Chemical abandoned research dissolving gases into water. First success was hydrocarbon spill cleanup like MTBE in California using dissolved pure oxygen to feed hydrocarbon eating bacteria. Dissolved O2 kills algae which was commercially proven in 2005 at a Santa Clara water treatment site but… using dissolved CO2 made algae grow like crazy.
We granted a CO2 gas infusion license to accelerate algae/plant growth to BlueOcean (BOC.TSXV) in its 2012 IPO. Post filing for a 2017 CO2 foliar spray US PTO patent (none like it), we want to trial high value above ground (cannabis, medical tobacco, algae) or high response to CO2 (lettuce, potatoes) grow trials. In the US we have California, Washington State, Minnesota, Vermont and Florida coverage.
