1st time grower question

If I am using fox farms ocean forest do I also need to add additional nutrients when watering? I purchased the go box but not sure if i need it! Any input or newbie tip would be greatly appreciated

It’ll have enough nutrients till veg if your starting from seed… But yes you will want to start adding nutrients slowly as they grow bigger… The plant will soak up the stored nutrients… If your transplanting from solo to bigger pot keep in mind your adding nutrients with new soil that the plant will soak up… Hope this helps

@kredd lighting has a lot to do with feeding. As long as you don’t turn your lighting up too high in the beginning you’ll do fine.
What kind of lighting do you have?

FFOF has about 4-6 weeks of nutes in it, like said by @covertgrower lighting is very important and probably the biggest investment you make for growing cannabis.

Two things you don’t skimp out on growing cannabis

Lighting
Exhaust fan/carbon scrubber

The above is just my opinion, others will chime in and give theirs, it’s a great community

Using a windowsill green house to start. That what the video said lol. I purchased the 4x4 grow tent kit from growers house. So it doesn’t feel like I cheeped out. But Once I get the hang of it I would love to invest in better lighting system

@kredd the lighting you chose will work great. You will find a differences of opinions on LED, HPS, and HID.
I prefer LED, more energy efficient, which means less heat to contend with, and more photons hitting the canopy.

Should I run some ducting from the lights out to Alleviate some of the heat. Just want to make sure I do this as right as possible.

When the fan on, you’ll have negative pressure, fresh cool air will be coming in from the bottom of the tent. Heat should always exhausted from the top.
Be sure to keep all other top vents shut.
Some connect ductwork to their lights to allow it to run cooler, and the heat is better exhausted.
