Mother Plants are preflowering dramatically under 16/8 light cycle. Anyone recommend 20/4 veg or 24hr?

All my mother plants are at 18/6 have been for years

You mean the little flowers at the node between the stems and the stalk? If so, they all do that once a certain age…each a little different depending on the strain. If you mean getting buds at the tips of the stems then I would say someone slipped you a auto lol.

Yip, sounds like an auto. Personally i would keep mothers on 18/6 light rather than a straight 24 hrs.

I keep mine on weak 24hr lights until it’s time to gow in veg.
