This is part of it. There are more parts it wil be slick.
I have some stackable 4’ led modules also coming up on the 2nd build with custom heatsinks. These heatsinks are custom also. They will go well in my mounting rails.

I’ve seen a few people building these. I’ve been thinking about going LED from CMH and was looking at spectrum king and black dog so my question is this
What are the benefits for building one yourself?

The advantages is cost. The boards are $89 each driver connectors im under $550 and im going to be putting out 640 watts. My goal is to have 1 full spect tent and 2 flower tents or vise versa. I want to test full spectrum lights from grow to flower vs 3500k led only. and see what i like. I have 5 different quantum boards. 1 have t5 in 1 bulb and 4 bulb. I have led t5 bulbs in 3 spektrums. I have HPS in 400 watt 600 watt and 1000 watt. I also have MH at 400 watt and 600 watt and 1000 watts. I like to play in the sandbox and make things and learn things! What fun im having.

Here is an update on this BEAUTY! Just a shining example of the strain! If you rub the leaves OMG! Lol this thing fantastic!
Today folier feed day also wow just amazing. A couple weeks and she gets her own tent to veg in shes gone be a mega plant!

Between us we gonna have a great collection of hash plants I have four now… One of my grannyskunk looked like that before I trained it.

Would you recommend a place to read more info on the build yourself LEDs?

I just learned here a little information. and then i went off on my own. And cruised the internet untill i found enough info to start. I would recommend talking to a lighting engineer. Call digikey and talk to an engineer. This shit can get very complex because we dont inderstant the language. Once i learned i know far more than i did. Check out bridgelux.com and check some pdf’s inside the data files there is a page(s) that explains quite a bit about light modules and drivers!

Ok update here the hash pssion is just a demon of a beast plant!

And her clones are awesome! there about to touch the lights! There on the bottom. The top is just clone stock. Nothing special just watching for certain growth aspects i like in my strain.
