morning growmie…I can see having a large tent would be a challenge for your trellis…I see growers make a frame from PVC pipe to get past this short comming…

morning PB…I have learned in my grows that feeding too much causes the excessive stretch…I have reduced my nutrients and now I get a normal stretch and larger tops…strange how that turned out but it works for me…

See im using less nutrients also this run. It seems like i really need to flip when there tiny. Because these grows in hydro get out of control really fast. Im gonna pull them down under the trelis and try not to block the front 2 plants. They stayed a manageable height. And one slightly leaned over and the side shoots grew up to meet the top. So it looks like it topped itself. But it didnt and the towering plants behind them are the issue. Because two are just where i want them.

I flip at 6 weeks above ground usually 15-18 inch tall girls no topping…like you I have noticed in hydro during veg they grow like weeds…but during the flower phase they grow a lot slower and more like a soil growth…we learn from each grow don’t we…

Lol its all about learning. I think this is like the 6-7th hydro grow I’ve ever done. Some just need more practice. I was thinking of making a second 4x4 set up but space is the issue and the way they make “ALL” these grow tents is retarded. There only made certain directions and the tents only open on certain sides. And the need to be ergonomic and be accessible from either side so when joe schmoe gets the tent to the grow you can place it anywhere and it will work. Not trying to figure out how to rotate the tent in the space he has and make it work. I have 9 tents and this always pissed me off. And the 2 in 1 tents suck to flower in because the walls are velcro attached and not light proof and the support poles are on the wrong side of the wall? Makig trelis work unfeasible. I think i have the long pole extensions and maybe i can make 2 vertical poles on the other side of the walls?

morning PB…damn that is a lot…not being able to move the plants around can make trimming a bit challenging… I bought these 10 inch curved scissors to help with that…a good tool to have…

Ok i need to do a little more defoliating and the very back plants might not hit the light so im gonna leave it alone. But i bent all the plants over and under the trelis
