8 vs 13 gallon for hydro

Good Evening,

I’d like to grow hydro in a 4x4 tent. My two options are 4, 8 gallon square pots, or 4, 13 gallon square pots. The reservoir would be outside, I am told they will both fit. Considering nute cost, room in the tent, water usage, health of the plants, which would you recommend? This will be a small grow, personal use.

Thank you for your input,
John

I would go with the 8 gallon pots @indica57. They will give you plenty of room for your rootzone, and it will help you save on h20 and nutes.

I seem to fill up 27 gallon totes with my roots, when I grow photos but , that’s just me. 8 gallon should do you fine :v:t4:
