You looking for a recommendation on fans or a UV light?
These fans are amazing. Check out some of their demo videos. One fan moves a ton of air.
Regarding UV, check out Shane on his MIGRO youtube channel. He’s put together a nice test of various UV bulbs and fixtures. He here is reviewing the industrial size option. PLASMA grow light | UV420 by Ceravision - YouTube
With all the goodies you’ve been smoking, who’s to say how long time is??? If I lived closer I would gladly have gone and help you but unfortunately all I can say is : Keep up the great work it’s all worth it in the end.
Do you know a few locals that might be interested in splitting the cost and use of a machine trimmer? $7k for a new Green Broz 215 is a lot for a single farmer, but it could pay for itself in short order. These guys are charging $185/lb to hand finish machine trimmed flower. $7000 would get you less than 40lbs trimmed from them. https://www.leafworks-ok.com/ The 215 is supposed to be able to handle 2-4lbs/hr.
@scotty17 this is my grow journal.i can’t get good pics of a whole plant my phone camera sucks but u can kinda see what’s going on.heres a pic of a tangilope I’m gonna chop tn. It’s 5 ft x 5 ft super dense buds
I get it when you have more than a few ladies going but I’ve heard those machines butcher nugs… Plus kind of brings the joy out of it plus I’m from Cali and good trimmers are in need… I trim on weekends in LA for extra cash after i do my daily job as a contractor… Create jobs brother!! That machine takes jobs away… Love the plant… Sorry if I seem harsh just a firm believer in one love helping people and trying not to make this world a place where rich get richer and the rest get fucked!
I believe in good jobs too. I can pay someone a proper salary if they can oversee a full harvest and have some marketable skills in machine operation and inventory management. Otherwise, the trim supervisor makes a living wage while the trimmers get paid minimum for unskilled labour. Same reason I’m not a fan of hand watering - if someone has the skills to oversee the system, operate it and maintain it, that that can be used in many industries, and that person will have the ability to find a good paying job in the cannabis industry or elsewhere. Putting ‘can tell if plants are dry, can tip watering can’ on a resume isn’t going to help that person out in the long run.
I’m not in this game to get rich, I’m in it to work hard and make good money. I’d rather have a team of 10 smart people that know how to make use of technology and earn a proper salary than a team of 20 where 15 of them are making minimum wage and can’t afford to live.
