What is a good add for phosphorus. I have some red purple lines forming on the stalks of my photos and looks like blotchy spots on the leafs almost done with flower. Well i think they are just stalling as long as possible. Would lower phosphorus cause the red purple to form on the stalks. Only 2 or 3 plants are getting the lines the reat look fine and all get the same doses of nute mix.

I don’t think you should sweat purple stems, its normally from LED lighting or a colder night time temperature… That being said, a high pH can also cause purple stems…drop a pic, let’s have a look…maybe someone else notices something…:sunglasses::v:

I started using Seabird Guano at least 30 years ago…used to be like $5 for 12 lbs. Last year I used up a 12 lb. bag I had on my garden outside, (lasted about 6 years) went to get more and it was totally out of stock everywhere, and the price had gone up to $50 IF you could find it. It was Peruvian Seabird guano.

Too many pot growers in the world nowadays lol…

(sigh)

What do you want to know about composting toilets?
@tubular

Well I have enough room to have another dwelling on our property but as my house was built 1981-just before building code came into effect our septic is not up for another input. If i get something consented I want to go composting. Do you have some suggestions on brand, style, functionality etc etc?

I will get back to you on some information @tubular
We have a very basic bucket system.
Gets stored for 2 years in drums then when completely broken down it gets used to plant native trees in the ground.
We add mushroom :mushroom: compost and untreated sawdust to the bucket as we go.
Its well away from our living space.
Dont like having toilets inside a house/living area.
Depends what your region council regulations are to what you can set up.
Like in our area what we do is not ok but a long drop is. How crazy is that.
Ours ends up more composted and in a hole than if it dropped strait in a hole in the ground.
If I lived in Golden Bay its OK to just build a pile of waste on the grown under black plastic sheet.
I’ll come back to this.
Bit pressed for time right now.
Cheers

@blackmoon thanks heaps. I appreciate that. I will do some research with the council about regs ( I mean regulations…not regular seeds )
