I ran dakine420. Pretty good stuff actually.
You are correct in a way about the PPM run off spoke with not only customer service in canada but also an advanced rep for a while and still do talk to him and both told me you can check the PPM run off but the only way it would be inaccurate would be if you are using the PH perfect system Micro Grow Bloom if you use the jungle juice, connasaur or the others the PPM will be good and even the MGB will be good just slightly off with in 100 to 150 or so because of the ph perfect making adjustments
The ph perfect system will adjust the ph if parameters are met which us adjusting water to between 5.2 and 7.0 before adding the nutes BUT when u ad in things namely the rhino skin, carboload, and I forget what else it will throw ur PH off.
For the start of my current run I decided to NOT use the primo water or RO and use tap now my plants have never seen chlorine or chloramine so I called AV and asked if I could use this stuff called Seachem Prime which I use in my aquarium to get rid of chlorine and chloramine and they said yes all good so I dis and have been now and amazing results and saves alot of time going to the store for water so a hack for u to use tap water and get rid of the chlorine and chloramine that will kill the beneficial bacteria get a bottle of Seachem prime about $18 for a liter and 5 ml will dechlorinate 50 GAL and in the end yes you will have to adjust the ph but it actually saves u money as 1 gal of the ph perfect MGB is about $110 and you will have to adjust if u use certain things not ph perfect like rhino skin etc so rather th3n use the ph perfect MGB use the JUNGLE JUICE that is only 70 for 1 gal of each
If you mix all your nutrients from advance Nutrients / Sensi bloom hypothetically speaking ,as an example let’s say it’s at 5.5 and then you decide to add Ancient earth
It will drop your pH to 5.2 advanced nutrients recommends to leave it alone do not make it more acidic and add pH up as the ph perfect will balance things out in your medium
I was gonna say the same. That’s actually not true Bc my tap starts at high 8’s. I mix my nutes and it’s dead on nuts every time. No matter what I start at when I mix them it hits the mark every time. Like unicorn magic
Its probably all the exhaust fumes from the old clubhouse that rubs u wrong;) lol (i grew up around one of the original 6 signing h.a’s) so i have seen way too much a.n. products. They produce large yeilds of good quality buds for sure. But costs wayyyyyyyy tooooo much. And dont stand against earth juice or canna products;) and their mag is a straight up rip off 100$ a litre if i remember correctly haha
Also im still waiting for roary to send my jungle juice samples hahaha…
Spot on. Again not anything against him or the company. In fact quite the opposite. I’ve just found that their is cheaper ways. That produce just the same results. I’m always trying to justify spending the extra money. Somethings are worth it some aren’t. Especially if your mainly a bean maker.
Do u use anything to get rid of the chlorine and chloramine? Mine starts in the 8s then I use seachem prime 1ml to 5 gal then MGB rhino carbo in that order and it drops to low 5 i then add everything else and at the end I’m low 5 and ph up to 6.3 to 6.4 I use ph perfect MGB rhino skin carbo bug ignitor big bud b52 over drive bud candy flawless finish voodoo piranha tarantula and fish shit lol it is expensive but if u use it right it goes along way my first run I had 5 plants and was using 13 gal per feed and wasted so much nutes then started dialing down to reduce the run off as I was getting 5 gal or so I finally figured 6 gal for 5 plants right now I am on my second run with 4 plants and use 5 gal every third or fourth day so 2 to 3 feedings a week and get about 1 gal of run off so for 5 gal I use 65 ml mgb and 38 ml everything else except fish shit only 5 ml that stuff is 130$ per liter and all are per instructions of 2 ml per liter then just round down and plants are beautiful just barely a tip burn compared to before there about 10 to 15 % was burned
No need to remove chlorines if u let your water sit overnight uncapped. I also used their full line and occasionally still do. I mostly feed with teas now. But if I have a plant that needs more than the others or I need to feed between teas I mostly use AN. I also use the flawless finish Bc I like a chelated flush.
That’s all I ever do. Just run local water. Let the chems air out 24 hours or so. No prob.
So much work. Get you some 55 gal drums. And run a tap. You can also heat it. These girls don’t really like.cold water
That sounds about right 3 gal pots 4 litiers per feed or 5 gal pots 6 L every couple days for hungry plants , Do you prefer carbo load over bud candy
Can’t. My plants are all at different stages. They feed at different levels of nutes. I mix my teas in 5 gallon buckets but nutes all go by the gallon. I grow in a basement so I have a shut off valve that just fills them quick.
The ladies are worth it
To remove chlorine yes but look into chloramine 90% of water has it and its basically chlorine except stronger and does not gas off
and why even bother with gassing off if for $18 u can use prime and in less then a min eliminate it all at once? Remember 5ml for 50 GALLONS there is 1000ml in a liter it goes a long way so much so I have had the same bottle for a year bot only for my plants but also a 75 gallon piranha tank that I change 30 to 35 gallons a week and I still have about half a bottle just a thoughtI use both carbo and candy all the way thru
Bud candy and carbo load have the same ingredients except bud candy enhances aroma and flavor Advanced nutrients only has carbo load on the shelf still because alot of growers where requested it . Try using one of the other to see the difference I’m trying just carbo .With proper genetics you shouldn’t need enhancement on flavor
Same Ingredients minus the ones that enhanced flavor and aroma I should say
My last run I only used bud candy but my room wasnt right in any way lol amazon lights humidity and temp problems all kinds now though my lights are great humidity and temp seem good 0for now so next run ill do a side by side
