Got an email yesterday from Advanced Nutrients, their Bud Labs app had two level, free where you could put in the Nutrient line you were using and get the amount to use per liter or gallon and then how much to use of their add on products. Then they had a pay per month function in the same app. Where you could customize the grow…not sure how much you could do because I didn’t pay for that service.
Yesterday in the email they have now offered the full app for free to everyone. So if you downloaded the app to your phone. Delete it and then go to your app store and download and reinstall it and you can use the full all the bells and whistles app at no cost now. My next grow I am going to set it up and see what all it offers.
Just though I would let all the AN users know if you didn’t get the email.
Thanks for putting the info out @sssportsmfg. I was checking that out myself and it seems pretty cool! The only problem I have is I do not follow their suggested feeding formula anymore. Over the past dozen grows only running AN I came up with a great little formula thats highly economical and very productive.
I’m a little disappointed that they tried to charge people. That company is pulling in more money than they know what to do with.
But they have recently reinvested in their production side, which was long overdue.
Anyways the app could be very helpful for alot of other people.
Thanks for this info! I have big bud and overdrive coming in the mail today. Are the other add ins worth the extra cost? Was looking at the bud candy in particular
I use the Big bud coco, overdrive and bud candy with my Jacks and GH. Both do better with it. I add the bud ignitor when I use the GH nutes. Jacks doesn’t seem to like the ignitor as a heads up.
I’m going to run the AN base lineup also next grow. This grow I’ve only given spring water and Epsom every 3rd watering. I’m in Foxfarm ocean forest so I’m hoping these boosters will be good to me
I use it too.
I tend to use a lot less than they suggest.
I’m running at about 700 ppm right now and noticed a little tip burn yesterday. I bought a new ppm meter and will check again this weekend.
I run Bud Candy, which is a 5 part formula that helps feed my Microbes in my Voodoo Juice and sweeten my buds. Then Rhino Skin, an essential Silica supplement.
I run both from Week 1 of Veg till my next to last week in flower @newbiegrower251.
They are highly worth the investment my friend!
I’m also a big fan of Bud Ignitor. It’s secret ingredient is Gibberellic acid, which is a hormone that has lots of proven growth benefits. I start using it my last week in Veg to get my plant preloaded with it and then the 1st 14 days after I flip my light schedule to flower.
I don’t ever grow without it anymore. It is a little spendy tho.
I definitely had to play around with my feed levels at 1st @Hydro. I noticed a little burn on some of my grows, but not all. If I ever feel I need to up anything I up my Sensi Cal-mag. But overall I worked out a solid week by week schedule.
I’ve ran almost every one of their products at one time or another. The biggest mistake was ever trying to run organic Mothers Earth Super Tea in my dwc system. Holy shit it stunk my whole house up. It’s bad! It’s a nasty funky smell! I could only take it for 3 days before I switched out my reservoir…
I need to look into the other products they have.
I’m following a grow right and they are using jacks.
I may have to try it because of the cost.
They seem to be doing fine. Its almost to good to be true
Bud candy is pretty much just complex sugars in a jug. Now I don’t know if they have any propritary goodies in there in addition to the sugars they list. I do use it, but to keep costs down on my grow i also use unsulfered molasses.
I agree with you on the Bud Igniter. I use it also, it seems to shorten up the internode length also. Some of their other products I have never really seen that they make any difference, and I have pretty much tried them all. I do use some of the stuff that you wouldn’t ever see a difference on like their organic root zone enzyme cleaner called Nirvana. It is kinda pricey too. Over all they make a really good line, both organic and non organic.
I am going to try the New Millennial line of late flower enhancer this time instead of Overdrive it is called Winter Frost. I’m still a few weeks away from using it though, and you only use it the week before your flush. This quart will last me forever lol.
One thing I tried this grow that seems to be working really well is foilar spray with a little Mg. and one teaspoon of 90% Fulvic acid powder per gallon of water. They really seem to like the Fulvic acid.
I just looked up Jacks nutes. it is the same company as the old blue powdered Peters fertilizer, I’m old so it is a familiar name (Peters) not Jacks. They changed the name to Jacks to get into the nute business for cannabis. Jack is the first name of the founders son whom now runs the business. They were known for fertilizer “sticks” that you would stick in the ground. They were in almost every hardware store nationwide. Their fertilizer had blue dye in it…and I think it still does from the picture on the magazine they got wrote up in. if you got it on your hands it would stain them blue. All synthetic, right out of the fertilizer plant, not that 90% of them aren’t. Back then it was Peters and Miracle Grow the two big names in household use fertilizers.
