Soil Test™ Direct Soil EC Tester - HI98331 something like this might be the simplest option. Reading soil is different than hydro, so there might be better ways of measuring soil that I’m not aware of. In large organic, no-till beds getting a soil test is best.

Is that different than a pulse meter?

I gotta get a new duct vent installed in the basement/grow area so i can set up one of my portable ac in there again i haha used the one from last summer to vent the 4x4 haha

Ya I see ec isn’t very useful for organics. Lab tests are probably the way if u got cash to spare

Ya I may still need more cooling myself

Thanks for all your help!

Soil tests should cost less than $50, usually around $30. The trouble is that the tests can only tell you what you need to add to your soil for your next grow, not much input for the current grow.

Have you checked out the guys at build a soil and KIS organics? I’d love to play with some living soil!

Not 1000% sure but I think 5/5 ztarburst are actually females :frowning: so I will need pollen from one of the boys… All 3 cherry noir I can sex are definitely females as well… I hope I get some males to run for seed lol

I think my ‘’little’’ Ztarburzt might be a male. It shot up like crazy and the stalk is super thick… I had to top it and try to clone it just in case… picture later for that one.

I trained the other girls tonight. Here’s the ‘’big’’ Ztarburzt after training:

The Cherry Noir 1 after training:

And the Cherry Noir 2 before training :

And after :

The roots are starting to poke out of the bottom of the pots!

Keep it green friends!

You should bring that cola down ,the idea is to neutralize the floral hormones not concentrate them in the cola;)
