That sounds like a very expensive toy @Tygrow78! Haha I started this grow in a tight budget, will be upgrading things slowly. Good to have reference on which equipment I should aim to, thank you for advising!
Also big thanks to @ginger420 and @Hydro, I will start slowly defoliation throughout flowering. I can see some leafs are dying, I hope it’s a natural process, the plant preparing itself for the flowering.
Changed the nutri solution today, pH in that same zone range (5.5 - 6.0) and EC/ppm around 1.8/800, it will be the last week with veg nutri, from next week introduce the flowering nutrients and start defoliating, scrogging (if I manage to, never done before haha) and hoping for the best
Done a bit of defoliation, not sure how the plants are reacting to the new nutri solution. Noticed some leaves with spots on it, any one have an idea of what it can be?
I ended up buying a 70 pint dehumidifier.
Expensive but worth it.
I have 2 grow areas so I dehumidify the room.
It has a automatic drain that I haven’t set up but need to.
I’m emptying it daily now
Hi.
It seems to me that your water ph is mayby slightly too low. I’m not sure about it, but …
The top of the plant is little brighter.
And the sides of the leaves are bent upwards.
Check the ph meter.
The spots on the leaves may be a sign of a deficiency caused by poor water pH. On flo it is good to slightly raise the ph, 5.9 — 6.0.
If those spots are insects, you’ve got a problem.
If anyone is interested, just little bit, Canna cure used regularly once a week to protect against insects and other shet.
Even though the pH is being kept around 5.9-6.0 and EC never above 1.9 the spots on the leaves are still showing up, maybe in less than 30% of the plant. I see the plant as having “healthy look” despite this signs on the leaf, I hope I am right
Flower production is everywhere, and the plant is still stretching towards the light. It has been really difficult to keep humidity lower the 60%, my dehumidifier can’t coop, trying to extract and supply/ventilate as much as possible to avoid mould.
If you want to get your humiduty down you can do some defoliation and get rid of some of your fan leaves @Agricanna.
Looking great my friend! Nice healthy roots!!
Maybe will have to wait a bit longer for the smaller one. I see many leaves with yellow tips, even though I’ve been monitoring closely the pH. Apart of that I think everything looks good, any advice welcomed
I read that autoflowering usually don’t ripen the trichomes as the photoperiod plants, so I saw yellowing leafs and waited as long as I could to have a mix of cloudy/amber trichomes before harvesting. (Sorry for the poor quality pic, very difficult with this cheap microscope haha)
Buds didn’t come up very thick, rather they became skinny buds not sure why. Low concentration Nutri solution? Missing some HST (lollipoping?) or techniques to improve yields?
I was expecting that hydro system would give me bigger yields and nicer buds, most probably I have missed something on the way, let’s see the total weight after drying. Any advices on drying process? Wet trimming or dry trimming for nicer results? Open for suggestions!
