We make LED grow lights and we are always trying to improve.
But we want to hear from real growers like you. Is there anything about your current light that bugs you? Maybe it gets too hot, doesn’t cover the space well or is hard to adjust?
Big or small, every bit of feedback helps.
If you could design your perfect grow light, what would you do differently?

Yes here is what kills me about every light out there with the exception of one, and for the life of me I can’t think of the brand name right now. But it is an expensive one. I do remember it was a light that Migro did a review on. He had it on youtube.
Everyone is a copycat, they went from trying to get the spread better with lenses, then they made various bar configurations but always the sides and corners are progressively worse the farther out you go. I always said to myself why don’t they just put more of the diodes in on the outer bars or more bars farther out and even up the light distribution. Instead of the same ol same ol of evenly spaced bars which by it’s very design makes it hot in the middle and not on the sides.
And on that make the fixture as big as the tent or very close to it. 1-2 inch clearance on each side. Either double up the bars on the outside edge, or increase the density of the diodes on the outer bars to even out the light distribution. It is so simple, yet I have only seen one that actually did it.
Remembered it. Grand Master LED. Tarantula Borg. Really even lighting, but like I said it is expensive $2100. I believe 1000 watt. Something like 30 different pre programmed programs for different spectrums, and 4 channels you can program yourself for infinite color control. It doesn’t need all that and doesn’t need to be anywhere near that expensive, the mfg’s just need to start building them for even light distribution. It’s not rocket science. It is simple placement of the light output. Hell a computer program could do that for you with the parameters of output of the LED’s.

I would add make it wireless.no controller, just WiFi and phone
