Any tips or advice for new indoor grower?

hey, i have and indoor grow tent think its a 2x2 but the thing is i have a clone of wedding cake in the tent under maxsisun pb1000 pro grow light, its seems to be growing good but i just cant seems to get it to flower. I move that one out to my outdoor spot.

Now i started a next one it’s growing good still young but am wondering is there any tips or advice i should know going forward ? My humidity is btw 65-75 right now and i feed with cal-ma, and Foxe Farm trio fertilizer combo.

Well this my first time in a grow blog, so going forward will post, to get the help i think i need; Both of my indoor and my outdoor.

My grow light schedule is on for 19hrs, off for 5 hrs.
For my flowering stage is 12hrs o, 12hrs off .

but the first one i had it under a GREENSINDOOR Grow Lights for Indoor Plants Full Spectrum 45W LED Growing Light and it was just growing not matter if i change the schedule or feeding; that’s why i buy the the other light to see if that makes a difference.

I know high Cal and Nitrate will delay flowering… sometimes up to two weeks, even if it’s not in high amounts. I use Calcium and Magnesium separately but if I did use Cal-Mag, (I’m in soil) I would cut it out at least a week before flip. FYI Cal-Mag has Nitrate nitrogen in it also.

other than that maybe light leaks or interrupted Darkness

light leaks could be the problems cause i do c some some holes in my tent.

Welcome. I go as far as putting tape over any lights in my tent. The light on my humidifier, fan, timer, ect. I block it out cause I herd that the smallest light, even the light from a humidifier can disrupt your dark cycle.

Hi there and Welcome!
Do some research first. Read some articles about horticulture and get to know the basics of the show. You obviously wont be an expert after this but this growing thing is trial and error. Whenever you feel you know enough to start, my biggest recommendation would be not to cheap out on stuff. Get some good lights, I would suggest iluminar, HLG or gavita. Get some good strains, this depends on your taste and what you want and lets hope genetics are nice. And stay on top of the grows checking for humidity, air flow and nutrients, I would recommend coco coir+ perlite for medium. It’s not easy but you have to start somewhere. Good Luck!

I see your ports are open. No exhaust? That’s possible light leaking. Nice setup. What size tent?

I’m starting out myself. Your tent looks a little like mine. Is it a 2 in 1 opened up? That’s what I’m using. Anyways, nice looking plants!

Yes It’s a two in one . I plan to buy an exhaust fan eventually but like a say just starting so taking it slow and steady. I getting light leakage from some microscopic holes , so ma plan is to tape them up also I close my ports opening.

At this point I just growing them to a certain height before I try again at puttin dem to flower
