So I started all these at the same time, I’m pretty sure the one in the picture by himself is ready, he’s showing sings of the dropping leaves… is that a sign of more water or is he ready for transplant forsure… what about the others? Are they two young ? Or are they ready to go
Ready to go I’d say.
I was told something along the lines as : If the leaves are wider than the pot, it should be transplanted… And when you do, you should put media up to the first leaves (cotelydons), your plants will be more supported that way!
I transplanted him! Does anyone know what droopy leaves mean? What’s she telling me? It’s only the two 2nd set of true leaves. Gonna wait a little longer to transplant the rest of them, simply because The one I transplanted(the biggest one) had roots at the bottom of the solo cup but not as many as there could have been I think. I love this so much . It’s like my new favorite hobby for-sure!!
Just let it recover from the transplant. It will be all good.
Happy Growing
Stop saying him haha your gonna jinx yourself shes looking good
What is your medium? In coco I like to keep them in a pot until they drink it dry in 1 day. If you let it dry out really good one time the medium will shrink back from the sides of the cup and roots will air prune rather than spiral. I go to a “300” nursery pot which is .7 gallon, repeat and finally into 3 gallon. The only time you can overwater in coco perlite is when the roots haven’t fully established in the container and you don’t need a big pot. Most people think my 3’s are too big, but they will need 4 feedings per day at the peak. Soil, of course, is a totally different story.
