And do they turn to buds?
Calyx and yes they stack up and form the buds. The 2 hairs that pop out are pistils. If pollen hits those then that calyx will swell and form a seed.
It’s a multi part process which includes the sepals.

Like trichomes, nodes,leaf margins, xylem etc
They look the same as they did 3 weeks ago shouldn’t have been changing. more up the stem also.
It depends on genetics. Some have huge node spaces others don’t. You’ll see some calyx in spots like that it normal.
Hard to explain but from the pictures it looks like your plant has colas so that strain prolly has stretch too it. Huge internodal spacing.
The GSC I run is similar just grows single buds compared to others that have fatty buds that stack well.
