We’ve got loads of em each year on our cherry trees. Stinky bastards. They smell horrible. And can ruin a lot of those delicious cherries, just by crawling over em. So i assume they can really mess up the great smell of your plants as well
Oh yeah, and btw @Skinnyhb: word on the street goes that bar-type LED’s spread the light more even (resulting in a nice, even canopy, especially with trellising)
Quantumboards would have a better light penetration…
I’m more of a fan of the bartype light in the 600 - 1000W range for a 5x5. That would give you enough power for good penetration, combined with that nice even spread.
Now we are almost done. Lol, you said that January 7th.
Outdoor ladies looking good, almost ready for two
Inside ladies are doing fine too
I raised the light intensity to 75% today, they have had about 8 hours of that intensity and seem to be enjoying it.
This has been stuck in my head for days. I mean days, almost a week now. Denzel is bringing the Rap game back after a couple decades of the cRap game. No trap beats, plenty of samples, consistent tempo, no auto tune, this is the good stuff. I think I can even hear Casio 80’s samples, those keyboards we all had as kids if you are 40 or so. Pretty sure there is a direct Easy E verse too.
“My daddy said treat young girls like your mother, my momma said trust no hoes use a rubber”
I would strongly suggest checking out his other tracks like, Sumo, Switch It Up, Vengeance, Bloodshed
I got pretty lit and this came on my Pandora. No more Denzel Curry, now it’s back to ZAPPA
Finally at the point I feel comfortable enough sharing some more photos, mostly due to it having already been a working environment for a week, and all the remains is touch up work.
Here is the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen:
21X9 - Two Growing Closets - 1 bathroom - 1 lounge
Now you need a small rain gutter so the water doesn’t splash off the ground and soak your foundation and splash mud and shit up on the side of the shed. Because it will slowly absorb the water swell up and split over time. Looks good though for your first build ever!
Yeah I would be inclined to agree with you except for; I have placed cement blocks in the ground along the dirt side of the UMRK. The rain falls on to them, then obviously splashes about. I need to caulk the top of the 1x4 to prevent any seepage.
Normally I listen to you, because you are right. This particular time you are still right, however there is another means for similar solution.
You are one of those people who the people around you likely don’t see the full value of you. Like Lion you are always full of great wisdom and experience.
Also I live in Arizona, it doesn’t really rain here sadly. Yesterday we had our last fall shower, for about 20 minutes…
Yep i get it all the time no damn respect! But who do they all ask for help lol yep me. I keep extensive pics as proof. I can typically find pics of how to do the job and exactly how I did it in my journals. Then people are like oh wow you did do that…thats pretty awesome they say. I just chuckle because im used to it. No props for me lol.
I built this.
I built this shed.
Wired up my computer for my superchrgers 7th injector kit after i installed the supercharger onto my trucks motor.
I build lights.
I buid drones, rc cars planes, helicopters.
Doesnt matter as much to others but all my stuff is tuff. And built the way i like it.
I have over 100+ hours of custom work into my truck. Nobody touches my stuff.
Day 24 Cherry OG via @970cannetics
Full Light Intensity - as of this morning
Be sure to scroll back to day 19, when they came home to me, and see if you think I have already doubled their size, please.
Yeah they did just about doubled in size.
That’s a neat little growshed Skinny! Awesome
Thank you everyone who had an interest in my building of the UMRK.
If you really want to know if the plants are close to ready, do the horizontal test.
Are the branches weighed down horizontal? If so you may be ready!
Day 26 Cherry OG
Looking a whole lot better since they have been in my care. Each lady is growing in a perfect symmetry, I have this inclination to believe even this early that these are all going to be ladies.
Even if I do get a male, I will still be happy, because I have never had a male before so that would be new and neat.
I want to see more stretch, how do I do that? Raise the light further away?
I raised the lights yesterday, today is the first morning I’m not as impressed with their looks, hopefully that’s just due to raising the light.
Lookin good .
Looking good! Why would you want them to stretch more? I like to see very tight nodes in my garden so that when in flower, flowers are stacking up nice and the plants give me big long flowers.
But yeah, If you want them to stretch raise your lights a bit.
Working room I suppose. They tend to grow bigger outside which is what I am used to. I’m not enthused about upcoming tasks such as pruning and trimming. It’s a whole different beast inside.
It is a different beast indeed. I like to top once, let 'm grow, supercrop, trellis, recover, defoliate, flip to flower, 14 days later another defoliation round, maybe trellis again and boom. Done. Herb coming your way!
This is pretty much what I normally do. Although this time I had a couple of extra steps.
