It will be an 8 pack if all goes according to plan, but since my transition to inside nothing has gone to plan.

Going to step up to the ROI E 680 today. Still 18/6, these ladies are not ready for flower time, but they need the flower light. Running it at 50% has to be more than the ROI E 200 at 100% right @PreyBird1

Environment is ready, once the sunny 80s° end I’ll move them inside

They look like they are loving the sunshine !! good looking plants for sure ! Is that ROI a new light?

No it is just the other closest. Fell asleep for a while and had the timer set wrong so it was off for an hour. I’ll check it back in about 90 minutes and see how hot the closet is, humidity, etc.

Ok so humidity is easy to control, but the heat is something else. Not sure what I’ll do in the hotter months short of just running the damn AC all summer. The closet is 5° cooler than outside :-/

What sort of insulation did you use and ac will be your friend.

It’s not so much the insulation, hell that may be why the closet can get so hot now. The light puts out a great deal of heat so without AC, or running a vent often, I’ll be in trouble.

Experimenting with my vent fan, trying different settings so I don’t have to keep the humidifier constantly running too.

Without a vent fan I can set my humidifier on and once it hits 50% it automatically shuts off until it has dropped more than 3% in the room. The addition of the vent fan keeps my humidifier running constant.

What I am trying right now is a setting where my vent fan comes on for 1-2 minutes every 10 minutes. Hopefully that will help keep the heat down today.

It’s that time of the month again @PreyBird1

Going to buy some fresh new soil today

… I had a thought. People with a dry climate, what would you think about a small swamp cooler. If you set it up in the outer room cool the room as it adds humidity to the air and then you can draw air from that room and vent back into that room. I don’t know might be a bad idea but it’s an idea. And I think it just might work. :man_shrugging::v:t3::+1:t3:

No that’s a pretty smart idea actually

I just got a small portable swamp cooler for my weather transition changes, I plan on using it when transitioning from winter to spring and fall to winter. 2 days ago it was 37 degrees with snow flurries, today 80 degrees.

You need to have an external air vent to outside for the back of the ac units hot air discharge. But this is what i would do a/c plenums!
If not ill do a mini split.

I have a through the wall AC, I also have duct fans in the top of each closet to discharge hot air.

Going to go get the soil now.

I haven’t needed to do this yet so i havent done anything about it. Because when i moved from my old apartment i have 2 a/c units in the shed outside.

You got to love simple solutions. I have two growing closets for two environments. One is on the North, one on the South. The South side is my Flower side, with the high heat light. Why not switch it to the North side where it will be more shaded?

This in tandem with my vent fan running 1 minute every 5, I’m set. Same temp as the rest of the building, humidity is staying consistent.

I follow you. But that second picture definitely is a microwave with a supercharger. Not gonna help.
