Haha I’m chipping in just now as well! Have a good one brother!
We need to side bar about that device and the Pax 3. I had the Pax 2 and loved it. Gave it to someone who I loved more so that they could have a more enjoyable smoking session. Was thinking in July I may get myself a Pax 3 as they are really cheap, and I’m sure with the 7/10 discount and being a veteran I’ll score a good deal.
But
I am open to reasoning as to why your device may be better or more like what I am looking for. Tell me more about it when you get time. Like how easy to clean it not easy, how long a charge, how nice or not nice is the flavor, etc.
Here’s what you need to know. Good battery life, cannabis goes in cartridges. Makes changing strains or putting in fresh very quick, adjustable temperatures.

Oh I got time now mate. Plenty of time. To talk about things like that? I love it.
Haha yes, the Pax’s are pretty awesome. I bought a Pax3 for my best mates birthday in March. He loves it. I like it as well, definitely considering its size. Battery is good, flavour is good. I miss the ability to finetune the temperature a bit on the Pax, but that’s alright if you just want to relax or get high. And the build quality! They’re sometimes called the “Apple among vapes” and I can’t disprove! Mighty is more plastic. But also has a very high build quality tho. And very well engineered. I would give em a point each. Just 2 very different designs for different user taste & preference.
I like how relatively easy the Pax’s are to clean. A cotton bud dipped in some isopropyl and done, pretty much. The Mighty takes a bit more time & effort to clean. You need to take the whole head compartiment apart including the screens and o-rings, soak em in some isopropyl for an hour tops, rinse em well with hot water and re-assemble. Replace screens and/or o-rings if necessary.
So point to Pax there.
But the smoke…or the vapor cloud…the drag…the experience
No device stands up against the Mighty+ imho. The power behind this beast is impressive. If you drag hard, it can feel like you’re taking bong hits instead of vape drags. It combines conduction with convection and that’s where its power comes from I believe. Battery is good, like 6-8 sessions for me or so. Of Course that is a VERY variable way to gauge battery life since its depending on how long a session would be to you.
±One session per battery life bar that is to me. Two big batteries hug the tunnel where the air is being sucked through and heated up (its quite a massive one!) followed by the heated, packed oven, followed by a nicely engineered cooling ‘flow’ unit ending in the mouthpiece.
I love my mighty and would never trade it. It is just mobile enough for me. I’m not carying it daily with me or so. But it’s small enough to accompany me to an occasion if necessary. At home its also less of a hassle compared to a Volcano for example. When used heavily you will have to charge it daily, but hey. We charge our phones daily. Or many of us do. And that is heavy heavy use only.
Pax definitely more portable (idc…), but you give up some battery life tho.
About the cleaning also, they advise cleaning it weekly. If I clean mine monthly its probably A LOT. And it is not dirty at all. (I don’t worry about bacteria or anything You’re sucking 200°C air through it…) Just brush out the dry herb after use and you last a long time. Every now and then I open the cooling unit and pick out the sticky, almost resin like residu that is clogged up in there, a little bit. You also can use a cotton swab with that if u want.
There, hope that helps.
That was a fantastic reply. More than I could have asked for and more than I expected. Thank you greatly for the thorough and interesting feedback.
Twice in the last 7 days my separated wife has come over and voluntarily had dinner with my son and I? Today I just asked her outright if she needs money for food. She said no. Things were cool both times, no fighting. Women?
I would do some topping. Then in a couple days perform some pinching. Like super cropping but only pinching it. This can add 3 days to the tops recovery and it knots up and get tougher. Or a combination of the different techniques. To control the speed and vertical reach. But if you havent flipped these plants you may be in for a big surprise. Stretch can increase your plant size by 40%-60% some strains are surprising. I like to flip at 4’ and ive flipped at 6’ in a 8’ tent holy bad idea!
Oh also on another note one time i over topped a Runtz plant it was a massive bush full of tons of small popcorn nuggets. What a P.A.I.! I do not recomend doing it and another thing some plants dont like growing certain styles. Like say multi topped Bush or Sea of Green or s.o.g. I prefer Christmas tree or a natural style if its a new to me strain then i clone it if i like it. And then ill see how different styles it grows best with.
This causes a literal tightness in my lungs. The passing of time and erasing of history, it just blows me a away with a cloud of melancholy, nay, depression.
Coronado High school was renovated, Metro Center is being destroyed, Circle K is going bye bye, all that leaves is Golfland, and it’s way different now too.
I honestly don’t know why this strikes such a nerve of depression with me but the fear that comes with it, of history being erased, things forgotten, entirely, it petrifies me.
I really wish the means for me to go to this tonight existed, but they do not. Maybe it would be the emotional catalyst I need to finally have a breakdown?
A friend came over and topped one of my plants I was a little concerned about the height of. The friend is a grow ops manager for a local dispensary and overseer of hundreds of plants at a time right, so sometimes he comes over and shares knowledge with me.
Tonight’s was that you do not need to CUT to top a plant. He looked at the main cola and kept digging deeper and deeper into the center of it, leave set after set until the newest two. After thoroughly pushing all other sets back, the newest set came off with his finger tips and a grazing.
It was like Salt Bae, or maybe even less of a pinch or twist method, literally they simply fell off once they were isolated. Now he claims that in and of itself will be a sufficient enough of a topping to the plant to focus lower growth as opposed to lateral.
We shall see, if this is true, then wow, I’m really happy to know of a less traumatic means to top, I always felt cutting a cola at the top was just against nature.
That’s how I prefer to top if I’m not taking a clone. There’s a Cushman video on YouTube shows how to do it.

Continuing on my own thread about Bill and Ted…
I thought about the matter for a long while and it is rather profound why this bothers me so much. The actual issue is not that the location is closing, or that something is being erased, or that it was in a movie, no, it is much more grand. We take for granted that the very fabric of our own neighborhood will be there the next day, and it won’t. We are flooded constantly, with information, nothing is permanent because there is so much happening so fast that before you can absorb what is happening, the next thing is already done happening. We never get a moment to just stop and breathe. We compensate for this with nostalgia, but the nostalgia is not the same as the original, rather it is usually cheap reproductions for a convenient profit, usually lacking the soul that anything original had.
My problem is not with the Circle K, and all the other locations pertaining to the film closing, and it is not with an existential threat to the make up of my childhood happiness being erased, my problem is that I am searching for something permanent in a world of impermanence.
Oddly once I came to accept this, moments ago, my melancholy faded away. Just like Alex Winters said, “all we are”, and then the song from Kansas plays in my head, I still feel that need for something permanent, yet I can still smile, because this has served to help me appreciate life in the moment more, because that’s all there is.
I don’t understand it entirely. Probably because my English is only so so. Maybe @happilyretired can send me the link to that video. I’m a visual guy
Sounds like they are describing Denoding / Schwazzing - cushman is Kyle Kushman…google those terms I’m sure you’ll find a sh!t-ton
Aren’t Schwazzing and denoding kind of opposites? Schwazzing is extreme defoliating, removing EVERY fanleaf. Denoding sounds more like what Kushman does in his famous supercrop video, stripping all the nodes except for the top 1,2,3 nodes and leaving a few fanleaves per branch as well.
I’ll schwazz your face with my denoder!

Who the hell came up with the term ‘Schwazzing’ anyways? Sounds more like a Nazi WWII Waffen SS extermination technique or so.
The way I do it is I spread the leaves support at the very top and I just push the little center cluster of leaves which is very small to one side that usually just snaps off if it doesn’t when you push it to one side push it the other way and it will snap off. In a couple of days to new branches growing from the sides of where you snapped the Tiny top.
My understanding is they are essentially the same with exception, denoding you are leaving more selective fan leaves above 50% stem height, until round 2 opposed to cleaning them down “Shave legs” style.
haha Yeah its a weird term german or dutch I assume
Definitely German. SCHMETTERLING. I know, I know, us Dutch-tongues are often blamed to be sounding like them. I really hope you can hear a difference tho
