2 seeds out of my order cracked open and sprouted the white stem but both grew at an angle almost hook shaped and stopped growing. Idk if i had them too close to the light. I have a 600 watt light and had them about 5-6 inches away from the light. I feel like it was much too close?

Prob so. I dont know what kind of light, soil, nutes, lighting schedule and all kinds of other data needed to diagnose your plant.

Yeah fill out the support ticket drop a few pics of what it looks like and what the light looks like ect. 5 to 6 inches is way close for a light to be unless it is like t5 bulbs lol. Is it true 500w light led or mh/hps. If it still has green that looks good possibly raise light to 15ish inches on low setting and see if she stands back up. If she seems to stretch too much getting a long stem crank up the light a little so it stops reaching for the light. Use back of hand if it gets warm on ur hand within a min or 2 it gonna be too much for the plants and bur. The leaves. Best to fill out the ticket and drop some pics tho that’ll tell all
@jhrdcr13 Welcome! Hang in there and let the crew wake up. It’s still pretty early in the USA. Please try to fill out at least some of the list that @Slym3r has provided and include a good quality image if you can. The more information you can provide the better. There are some SERIOUS growers that lurk around here and they love a challenge.
Pic worth 1000 words too. When you say they cracked and grew hooked, I’m unsure if you mean the initiql “tail” root or the above ground plant.
I bend and break stems. She’s an amazingly resilient plant, when in vegetation. All natural plants grow towards the light. Should straighten just fine.
Read up on stress training. Your gonna wanna bend(very gently only in one direction and only enough to break half the stalk) n break(not a beginner tech). Throughout vegetation. If you haven’t ever stressed a plant, the hard platic obtuse clips are your best bet. As long as you apply them with patience, you shouldn’t damage your plant. This veg i str8 broke a limb when stressing. That became a clone, but is irrelevant. Stress clips are cheap. Someone here may kno a vendor or they are 10ish on amazon.
