Built my own Greenhouse for my first Outdoor Grow!

So decided to try outdoor growing this season! Built my own Greenhouse and dug some holes! Going to do 4 Photo’s from ILGM (Purple Haze, Super Lemon Haze, Strawberry Cough and GDP) Selected those for their high resistances to pests and mold. Also going to try two potted Auto’s from Mephisto Genetics (Sweet N Sour and Creme de le Chem).

Nicely done! Do you have a materials manifest and a basic blueprint so others could try out your design?

Hey guys here is what I did to create the green house. To build the floor frame I used 7 2x12x14ft Outdoor treated planks. This created the area of the green house as well as the 4 beds inside of it. From there I drilled 10 holes 1 ft down in to the ground and put 18 inch stakes in them, I used 3/4 inch width on the steaks so the 1 inch PVC Pipes would fit over them. From there I used braces to mount the PVC Pipes into the ground. I then created two door frames and purchased screen doors. I dug out two holes in the ground in the center of the green house, this would hold the brace that the doors would be attached to. I mounted the 2s12x16 onto the posts and the door frames. Then covered it all in 6mil plastic and used staples to secure them.

Below you’ll find the key supplies along with product numbers I got off Lowes website, as well as a link to the youtube video I was guided by, which helps really put together what I’m trying to explain.

Here are some pics of the inside a few months later. I’ve got the beds planted with Alfalfa, Chamomile, Green Beans and Dill. The other two beds have various Peppers, Basil, Lavender, Garlic, Carrots, Wasabi, Rosemary and of course some other flowers. Animal Crackers, Fire OG, Northern Lights, Sherbert Heaven. The two main beds, the ones with the developed Alfalfa, have Purple Haze, Strawberry Cough, Grand Daddy Purple and Blueberry Kush. The 5 Pots have 2 Autos from Mephisto, Sweet N Sour and Chemdoggin. And the other 3 Have Double Chocolate, Blueberry and Zkittelz Glue from Canuk. In retrospect I planted a little early, as it’s still apparently winter in Michigan… have only had a handful of days in the past few months over 60 degrees and the sun has been out even less. Which as you can see if you look closely is the main cause of the huge spacing between nodes. So I’ve topped them twice now (about an hour ago the second time) to help keep them smaller so they don’t flower through the roof.

I love it. You need a comfy chair and a little end table for your drink and toking gear in there.

What an incredible greenhouse!! @vega0284

I miss mine, it was a “lean too”

Took it down after I got robbed

I could even vent out AC from the house if needed

Texas is a little hot though, even the AC had trouble keeping temps down

Things got hotter than even this in there

If it could happen and you were ok with it, I wouldn’t mind a bit.

Lol Well I would be happy to have you work in my greenhouse but I tore it down after I was broken into

I didn’t have anything in it at the time, they actually broke into my indoor grow room, but after that happened I decided that it probably wouldn’t be in my best interest to have plants outside, especially in an illegal state
