Buying Seeds and Seed flowering time?

Hey so I’m looking at getting some more seeds and as I’m looking I notice it gives the flowering time!

Now my question is… Does that mean how long untill it starts to flower or how long untill it’s fully flowerd and ready to harvest?

That is usually just the time in flower, does not include veg.

With autoflowers i’m seeing a lot are shifting to “total life cycle”…sprout to finish, but still like @bow4buck said you plan to add two weeks. Some breeders will also give info like “days to preflower” or “flowering time”:

For photoperiods @bow4buck answered perfect

Time in Flower on average. It is just a roughstamit. You need to know what you want; Trichs Cloudy, 15% Amber, Mostly Amber and watch them as you get near.

It’s just an estimate from the time you turn the lights back till you chop em down. Mine always seem to take a little longer than what they say. I think a lot of it depends on how healthy they are through the flower cycle, if real healthy then they grow longer make more flowers.

most everything i grow runs roughly 9 weeks. MK-Ultra (THSeeds) is great at 8-8 1/12 weeks.

the important thing to learn is get to know the strains you run. The DSD i run, well, i have been running her for over 10 years. i can look at her and, by checking trichs (always check trichs), know exactly how she’ll be at 9 weeks, 9 1/2 weeks, and 10 weeks. Flowering time will vary when you feed a little differently, and will depend on the weather and season, slightly. Knowing your strains takes a few grows, but the flowering time given by the breeder is a nice guideline to have. With a 9 week strain, take a sample at 8 weeks, 8 1/2 weeks. 9 weeks, 9 1/2 weeks, 10 weeks and see where you like her and the buzz. once you get that figured out, you have a more definitive idea of when to harvest, because you’ll know what the buzz will be like and what the trichs look like at the point where you like her.
