There are now 44 producers selling medicinal Cannabis in Canada. There are 440 approved to grow but not yet approved to sell, and word is they want 1000 in total by next summer. So yep. Jobs jobs jobs!!

Wow that’s a lot of new licenses in the pipeline. Hopefully they’ll be able to keep up with the paperwork and get people up and growing quickly.

Health Canada hired more people to approve both the Licensed Producer applications and the personal home cultivation applications. Yet I know many people who are still waiting for their license some 8 months later.

That’s tough that the process is taking so long. Definitely some growing pains as the approving agencies get their procedures in order.
