Folks regularly associate the medical benefits of cannabis when it is used in a curative or therapeutic manner to help alleviate the symptoms of other syndromes – many of those illnesses being progressive and chronic in nature. As clinicians and cannabis users alike have begun to understand some of the regulatory functions of our endocannabinoid system (ECS), we have also come to understand that cannabis can be used as a preventative component of integrated medicine. Regular cannabis users have discovered the proactive health joys of cannabis to help regulate many of the systems of our body. We want to talk about those health benefits here.
Our GNET community regularly talks about topics like juicing and the impacts of cannabis on health, but we have not had a solid, in depth discussion about the ECS and integrated medicine. Many of our GNET community live in places where cannabis is only legally permitted for medical use; so it seems appropriate that we discuss cannabis as medicine from time to time.

Have you got a good book everybody should read about the ECS (paging Dr. Mechoulam)? Do you have the perfect morning juicing recipe? Let’s talk about how cannabis affects our bodies!
