My lights are at the top of my tent, I can’t raise them no more. The 2 plants on the left keep stretching, they are 34’ tall.
This is my first time growing without doing any training, I wanted to see what happens if I just leave them alone.
In other news, Sonlipo is sending me a free light! They are impressed with my grows and want me to test and review their new spf2000.
It’s only a hundred dollar light but its still a free light! It should be here today, so pics coming later.
I was surprised, Sonlipo reached out to me. They really do have great customer service, working with me my first 2 grows. They get really involved if you ask questions.
I’m happy with the spe2000 I got from them 2 years ago, so this new model should pair nice with it & fill out my tent.
Super excited! I never get anything for free!

Congratulations that’s awesome
Oh oh oh OH …zsweet child of mine…

Shauna nana na na Knees…
It’s here!
Sonlipo’s newest SPF2000.
It’s really light, under 8 lbs. It’s got 6 panels with 882 Samsung lm281+ LED’s
It’s about 19" both ways and has Veg, Veg+bloom 1 & Veg+bloom 1 + bloom 2.
2 different bloom modes. Waiting for lights on to install it in my tent.
.
Nice, exciting…

Looks like a nice light, never heard of it before, man there is so much stuff out there nowdays!! How many actual watts? (amp draw) Good lookin grow!
Marty
If it’s the 200 wt one I saw on Amazon it pulls 1.67 amps.
They have one that has a awesome light pattern WAY HIGH for 5x5. 1100 in the corners, wonder how real that is, they use a Samsung diode that I have never seen anyone else use. It has IR UVA, far red 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 K diodes. $700 bucks

Been using the spe2000 since 2020 and my only complaint is the dimmer doesn’t stay true when the lights turn on from off.
I don’t use the dimmer so that don’t effect me at all. Happy with the weed I grow with it. Prices dropped in half since I bought mine 2 years ago.
It was free so I have nothing to lose. .

TBH I just top dress with compost every month…compost teas are so finicky…
Pina Autos @ 41 days.
Applied 5th application of BBP yesterday. Also fed them compost tea.
Being a forgetful dumbass, I forgot to add cal/mag to the mix. Now my poor plants have to wait till next watering to get the cal/mag they need.
The bad part is that I wasn’t even high! I just forgot.
Pina Autos @ 46 days.
Well, its official…this is my worst grow yet! I’m so disappointed in myself.
As you can see, the leaves are clawing and discolored. I tried a new cal/mag with added micronutrients but my plants don’t like it.
I don’t know if its too much or what. I should’ve started it at half strength. I also top dressed them the other day.
I’m confused with what’s going on. So I’m not sure what to do. But what I am going to do is drop the cal mag with added micronutrients and use regular calmag.
I also repositioned my fans just in case it’s too much wind on them. Its hot in my tent, 83°. Could this cause leave to claw?
I think its too much nitrogen, really. That would cause clawing and the discolored leaves both.
What do you guys think? Any help? I can’t afford to lose this crop. They have 4 weeks at least to go.
FWIW it’s probably a combination of the new nutes and the heat!
It’s gotta be a real lot of wind man. I use to think that a lot too but go take a look at Slyms fans blowing on his shit. Have you tried the Epsom salt with waterings and a foilar spray action. What’s the #'s say… no shame in that game if you got issues fo shiz. And easy on the worst grow ever wordage … It can always be worse bruh.
You might want to flush them and check ppm of the runoff. Try to get your tent temperature down below 80f if you can.
Putting in the AC today. I wasn’t even thinking about a flush to check the run off! Where’s my head? I’ll do that today also.
.
I just threw that out as an option because I have never ran pure organic, but a good flush sounded reasonable to me!
You know to be honest; those plants don’t appear to be overfed to me…just the opposite as a matter of fact!
It is certainly a good idea to routinely check your nutrient solution pH and EC being applied, AND more importantly your runoff pH and EC… that procedure will keep you informed throughout the grow of your TRUE nutrient status!
I’m going to catch hell for this I know !!! Personal opinion only!!!::::::: Friggin CAL MAG is certainly important but should be the LAST resort in treating nutrient imbalances !
Why do I say such a ludicrous thing??? Look guys Ca and Mg are both + ions. IF oversupplied they DISPLACE and TIE UP POTASSIUM! This is going to make a visual nutrient deficiency WORSE!
NOT only that…you are displacing metals…Zn, Mn, Fe, B !!!
Here’s my creed and I’m sticking to it!!! At the first sign of slowing growth, or lower leaves yellowing
ask yourself if you’re overwatering!? Not overwatering…then you are beginning nutrient deficiency…
Start by increasing (maybe by 10% ) your base nutrient and observe for a few days. (Remember this is with full consideration that you are checking pH and EC going IN and coming out!) If you see a favorable response but your leaf color is still a little off …address it with a micronutrient supplement (Zn, Mn, Fe) in particular. Again give it 4-5 days to observe. getting nice growth and color again? Mission accomplished !
As I said Ca and Mg are important ! I really like nutrient packages that contain a little Ca/Mg . Keep in mind that the Ca:Mg ratio should be 3:1 ideally… So flame away!
