There are a couple cats on ILGM that are basically photographers. You can tell by who’s won BOM 4 X’s when your capped. It’s really 90% camera skills. I don’t care what you say… A good camera with background can make a mediocre bud look delicious.
Just refer to Happy’s pics…OH SNAP- no he didn’t!! LMAO

Keep pokin the bear…and sooner…or…lol
Marty
Well… every picture you see for me is off a iPhone. I haven’t figured out how to get the pictures I take on my good camera reduced small enough to where I can post them on the Internet.
LOL, Hell if I had the skills and equipment, I would never get defensive…LOL, presentation is EVERYTHING!!!
Ever notice how that restaurant food never looks as good on your plate as it does on the menu???
Presentation=Marketing=Separating you from your dollars!!!
LoL @ defensive… anyone of us in this entire gang could give an eff what other ppl think!!! LMAO hard. This hobby has taught any of us Patience as a number 1 lesson. With patience comes logic and thinking. So yah… We are basically all geniuses… lol one sec … brb BoNg hiT!
You are such a salesman ol Flasch Gordon! Been there sold that huh!! ![]()
That’s like business school 102 … your like a botanist /chemist/ professor/ salesman/ grandpa/Stoner
Now that’s strange Hap…when I’m on my desktop I use my Nikon DSLR, course it’s an old D5100 prolly 15 years old. Pics are about 5 Mb. native res. When I post them the forum auto compresses them. And they are always in the right orientation. When I use my phone or pad they wind up most times every way but in the right orientation!
Marty
I hear your sport, but my camera is 42 megapixel. Internet can’t handle it can’t compress it it’s just too much. With these new cameras you can take a picture at 42 megapixels and blow it up to 5 foot poster and you don’t see the pixels. But I tell you what easier and very complicated at the same time.

Well that sure explains it…the 5100 is only 16.2 megapixels.
Marty
I have a few more photos to put in solo cups today, then some will get their first app of BBP.

LOL! Good combination! Bob, your grandchildren (if u have any) are BLESSED with such a pops!
He would destroy the birds and the bees talk!!
Do you like the Jiffy’s @chavez78? I use em a lot as well to germinate. Have good results with em. Like em better than rockwool cubes.
I was just gonna ask what the hell they were…blew the picture up and it looked like corn flakes in a bag lol.
Marty
Hey sport, they are compressed Pete. It’s in a little bag they’re about as big around as a 50 Cent piece in about a quarter inch thick drop them in your water in a few minutes they’re all swelled up. They work excellent for starting seeds if you’re going to use them and transplant into coco or soil.

Yeah Hap I was just reading up on them…got a question for ya on the clones. They ain’t looking too good, matter of fact not good at all. All droopy and wilted, some look ok others look like they are about to croak. I only watered them when I put them into the rockwool, no standing water. Using my little 50 w starter light. Used Clonex at 5ml per L. Some of them are getting yellow so per your instructions I spritzed them with the same Clonex solution. Kept the dome on them 24/7 so far. Do they need to get some air time without the dome? I have been taking it off for a few minutes each day then back on. I tried several different configurations, solid rockwool, rockwool torn into pieces for more oxigen, and some of the fiber cubes that came with the cloning gel. Heat mat @77 degrees Any suggestions much appreciated. Here’s some pics.
Marty
Well you can try putting them on gas lantern lighting instead of 18 six or 24. you have your cubes in the little damn square things so you can’t pick them up in squeeze and see how much moisture in them they do dry out you should have water in that tray of some sort a pile of wet paper towel very wet. They aren’t sitting in the water cause they’re in them little pots and the tray probably has grooves in the bottom. You’re dome should be completely foggy where you can’t see through it with moisture if it’s not spray it every time you spray the plants at least once a day try to shove one of the ugly ones up to where you can get the cube out and see how moist it is if you give it a LITE squeeze and no water drips put your sprayer on stream and pump a few squirts into each cube. If you have no water in the tray and you have not been spraying them and the inside of the dome then they’re probably drying out. This would probably be worst case scenario for a clone other than too much water. Delicate balance.
I just looked back and you’re dome is plenty moist. If you didn’t give your cubes a gentle squeeze before you put your clones in they could be too wet just the opposite of what I described. If I could walk in there and touch them for a minute or less I can tell you what’s going on but it’s hard to do from 2000 miles away.
You can move your temperature probe from underneath the tray and poke it through one of the holes in the top and hang it down Close to the pots.
Ok Hap thanks, I will squeeze them and see what happens. They seem like they got plenty of moisture, maybe like you said too much. My first time, when I didn’t give a damn they did great, now that I want them they are dying go figure. Did the good ones just the same. If only 6 live I am good.
Ok I’ll move the temp probe too. I’ll get there I have 26 in there.
Marty
Love them @MrMonkey420 .
I’m getting 100% germination. 16 out of 16. I can’t complain! It’s my favorite method for germinating.
