Damn! I got gnats! :weary:.

They are probably laying eggs in my soil right now!

.

Picked up these pots with training holes in them. It will be a lot better than using safety pins.

Any suggestions about the gnats would be greatly appreciated.

:v::green_heart:. & Have a great weekend!

Throw some mosquito bits in your nutrient solution before you water. That should take care of them. Get some DE or use mosquito bits on top of your soil also works well to prevent them from showing up. Also kills them if they’re already there. :+1:t3:

I’m surprised you haven’t heard me talk about them man… Bits are the :bomb: ! I use it religiously… even keep a small one at work.

Let the soil dry up a bit more before watering and don’t water too much at once. Just before droopy leaves. You get the hang of it after a while. I water everyday…
Gnats don’t like dryer soil. Also, keep the tent closed as much as possible and the room where the tent sits clean. It’s hard, I know, I love to just stare at my ladies with the tentdoor open as well. But if you keep it closed at all times, just open when you work or water your plants, you’ll get a lot less invaders.

Durban Poison, SLH auto & POG auto 22 days..

Grandpa’s Stash auto, Ethos Haze auto & Lilac Diesel auto 22 days.

A mix of photos and autos 15 days.

Gave them all their second application of BBP spoon fed program last night. So far so good except my Lilac Diesel. It was over watered, so it’s having a hard time recovering.

Now I need those mosquito bits to come in so I can get rid of the gnats that are going to town on my baby’s! That will be Wednesday.

Transplanting the rest of the solo cups after the holiday.

Zweet Child Auto @ 78 days.

Buds are getting nice and dense! I need to harvest her before I get too many amber trich’s. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

Still getting bud growth but I like me a head high to calm my racing mind. Super sticky and smells so sweet! Reminds me of the Moby Dick strain I grew on my first grow.

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day!

:v:. :green_heart:. & Happy Growing!

Ok, running two 240w lights in my little 3x4 is generating too much heat. It got hot out the last couple days and I had a hard time keeping it cool even with the air conditioner.

So I got me a 6" AC Infinity inline fan to upgrade from my 4". I hope it helps!

Really cool booklet came with it…

It’s got pretty detailed information from germination through flower and a bunch of other stuff like all their products, of course.

My Sonlipo light came with a similar pamphlet. I like it when companies give you a lot of information about other things than just their product.

.

I do have a question.

I can’t fit the 6" out my window with the AC in it so I got a 6" to 4" adapter to run out the window.

Will it still work the same or will it impede the airflow even though the 6" duct will run until it reaches the 4" adapter at the window?

I’m not sure but as long as the tent cools down and the exhaust tubing is away from the tent it should work. If you know an HVAC Tech they should be able to let you know. @happilyretired or @sssportsmfg would also probably know.

I would see what happens when you get running. If I thought the back pressure is going to be a problem, I would get a handheld air flow meter off of Amazon for $30 and see if it is an air flow problem.

I would hook it up and try it and see if there’s a problem first. And if it is not doing what you want, elongate your hole into a oval if you can and you might be able to take a 6 inch extension and just crushed one end into an oval to fit out the hole. It’ll still be the same amount of square inches it will just be a oval instead of round on one end. This is assuming that you have room to do this. :+1:t3::v:t3:

As long as it works better than it does now I’ll be happy.

I’m assuming it should because it’s a bigger motor and it will just force the air out harder through the 4" at the end.

That’s what I’m hoping anyway! Lol.

I might be able to do the oval thing! I’ll try it. Ducting should be here sometime today.

Good thinking, @happilyretired !

How about a pic of what your dealing with? We are talking about the inlet window? You have an AC line running in it now and you need an exit for the exhaust? There’s only 1 opening in your tent? You can’t fix the infinity air duct out the flap or you have an intake taking up a different port? I’ve never seen a tent up close, the bottoms are sewn to the sides all 1 piece?
But you are right it would just increase airflow @ the reduced point. AND if that point is just open to the outside that isn’t an issue as its immediately wide again. I just confused the hell out of myself… LoL
I’m not sure if we talked but I always tell ppl to just go with a 6" from the get go.
As long as it doesn’t suck your tent into an implosion… I see no problems… LoL

I am baked… I was gonna delete all that… LoL
Just squish it… hard to believe those tents only have 1 hole.
