New Mexico is so pretty. In my adulthood, I mostly travel North of Albuquerque areas (Taos, Red River, the highway to Santa Fe) and there is so very little water up there (that I could find). I’m gonna have to go through this area next time. So beautiful. I went through Carlsbad Caverns when I was a child. Too cool.

I visited New Mexico once, while my little brother was in college in Portales. I believe they call that school “Enema U” lol.
So while I was there, I took my bro’s motorcycle out for a ride. Omg I think that may have been the first time I saw fields as far as the eye could see, all the way to the horizon. Wide open spaces. I was loving it so much I guess I was gone a long time. My brother came looking for me!
Thats the furthest west Ive been. Im kust dyin to go to Cali and the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone…Walla walla. . .

Thanks, and no problem. I have been to all of those places. Lived in wala wala wa for a while, actually a lot of places in or and wa, used to go to so cal once a month, and nor cal once a year, been to the grand canyon more times than I even know lol, I want to see further east, have not been to the east coast at all.

Those New Mexico afternoon showers … so cleansing … and the skies … we almost moved there instead of the PNW, but my ex hubby didn’t get the job. Kinda glad. Want to keep New Mexico as a visit spot rather than live there. Keeps the specialness.
One day we will wander that way!
