Long before I began growing, I was researching all parts of my future harvests. The roots were something I was eager to use but am always very very surprised at how small the root ball actually is. Now that I’m growing I see that the ball is but one small part of an incredibly delicate and intricate system of fibrous rootlets.
Either way, I mentioned this to someone on twitter and was gifted this article by none other than Ethan Russo and two other researchers. Does anyone else process their roots?
