Just wondering if you think these autos are pollinated. Looks like either it wants to reveg or a seed. Haven’t looked at them under a scope. They are also hard dense bud and not fluffy soft?
What are those? You did a great job. Seems like your unaware of your good doings?!?
Sacrifice a couple - no big deal!! Squeeze a couple of them and see if seeds pop out… That one circled is a great starting point… She such a gorgeous purple man.
Only reason I ask is my previous outdoor auto grow got pollinated somehow when there was no males around. So now Im gun shy. The really deep purple color is blueberry (bag seed unknown breeder) the slightly purple is a strain called deep purple (from a friend who’s new breeder) and the other is banana kush (from ilgm)
I bought some seeds from ILGM. I followed the exact method ILGM said to germinate. After a month only six of them had even cracked the shell. I contacted ILGM and they dispatched a whole new order, but here’s the interesting point. The whole new batch they dispatched contain seeds that look hundreds of times more vibrant and healthy than the original purchase. This leads me to suspect that perhaps they try to pass off their older seeds on initial purchases and if you complain you get newer seeds perhaps? Obviously we don’t want to think of a business with practices like this but that’s just reality.
You know Ive never had a problem with ILGM… they were like my first 3 orders ever. I don’t use them anymore since leaving the forum and not to mention there’s plenty of swappers and sellers in here to get from now. I think it would require some organization on their part to know if people are first-time buyers and all that jazz. Anywho glad you got set straight. Do you soak your seeds for a day before planting or did you go paper towel method, just curious, no biggy. And nice meeting you skinny btw … welcome to GN
30 days submerged in water in the dark. They said it could take up to 5 days, so I waited and focused on what I had growing already. Interestingly once I moved them to light is when they started to break open finally.
Back up… rewind!! You had seeds in water for a month? Then they sprouted too?? Skinny… We got you man. It’s time to nip this one in the bud… lol see that play on words. .
That is the craziest longest soak I ever heard of man. Very cool that is some info I got in the arsenal now.
Yeah, 30 days. Purified water in sterile jars, no tops. I would say maybe 3 days after putting them in you could see a clear film that had developed around each seed. I have been told that this film is necessary for helping to break down the outer layer of the seed itself.
Nothing happened obviously. If it had been a matter of concern I wouldn’t have left them for 30 days but I had other plants growing so it wasn’t a concern.
I reached out to ILGM and sent them photos, and as I believe I mentioned the seeds they sent me as replacements looked vastly better than the seeds I had initially purchased. They were also incredibly kind and understanding.
Who told you a layer of slime was necessary? I shouldn’t say that. It very well could have been different from my experience. I had some old seeds I wasn’t going to give up on and after a couple days I saw white slime/fuzz around them and just tossed them. Different strokes and all but I’ve never heard this explanation. Then again I always see new stuff and can’t right nothing off unless Ive messed it up and killed something for proof…lol
Try placing them in the sun or scratching the outside of them before water.
