Does your grow facility have a UPS system?

I just read an interesting article posted by @MBS_Engineering

It made me think about how a lot of money is being invested into grow facilities - sensitive equipment like lighting, monitors, computers, controllers, etc., and how this equipment is extremely vulnerable to energy fluctuations (i.e. dirty power).

Have you taken precautions for this at your grow facility? Do you have backup power strategies in place in case there’s a power outage? Do you use an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system?

I have a few of the first-gen Gavita EL1 &2 controllers on UPS’s, because their built-in batteries have failed and I don’t have the receipts to get them exchanged. Other than that no, the Nanolux DTU’s work perfectly after a power loss, and anything else (fan controllers etc) are hooked up to too large of a device to be economical to UPS. I have standby generators for the larger grows (primarily for veg rooms) as flower rooms can go dark for a day or two without adversity.
