Have you seen the dilemma im having drying of all things my auto buds @LoCoRocK
Few comments on here and on my blackmoons arising journal over the other side.
Dry wet up and down I can only imagine what I’m doing to the terms and trichromes qualities.
So up set how its ending up after there grow.
Was pleased with how I washed them for the first time.
Then they dried super fast had nowhere to put them to slow them down.
Caught me out as usually its autumn and were I dry is perfect.
Not middle summer
Then I had to go off to work and leave them then I Jared them with fresh leaves from my photos even took them to work with me so I could keep an eye on them.
What a drama when I got home they were rehydrated and maybe too moist.
Then I got them out and onto drying trays and a freak 2 min shower rain came through and wet them again.
Arrrrrrrr

Mr Moon, you have had a turbulent ride my friend, best thoughts I can offer;
Hang buds, light, circulating fan blowing off excess water, double bag them as I suggested, when they are ready for jarring, check once a day (burping/mould check) then let them do their thing, Budbrother and AAA, both suggested this method to me, when I wanted to do a slow dry. AAA does this for up to a month, before jarring.
Next suggestion, next harvest, be prepared for your drying stage in advance, plan ahead and have everything you need, portable closets are a cheap alternative, Afg uses one for her grows.

Thanks @Enlightened420 yep that was a stress ball 5 days.
Started out so well.
Never finished a grow mid summer before that caught me out.
My usual spot drys them spot on in autumn.
Yep was just messaging @aussiecrawl about that.
Re being more organized.
Like having your hydrometers drying trays and ofcourse a cool dark place to hang them.
And it would not have got to this stage if I hadn’t have to go off to work for 4 days.
I like the wardrobe idea that could work to keep the heat out.
I seem to have it better controlled now.
I did the double bag as you first suggested but they were even more like dry toast when I got to look at them between a shift from work thats when my panic set in.
Being around is helping a lot now I can gauge where they should be.
Just hope they are a little forgiving.
Moving towards being more organized
Cheers

That’s quite an impressive line up my friend. I grew Gold Leaf and Chocolope last round and enjoyed both of them.

Gg was my first ever known strain of weed I’ve grown.
I grew it last year and yes your right.
Straight to the trophy room with her.
I’ve got gold leaf in veg at the moment outdoors not far from turning my hunch. Can’t wait.
I dropped a seed the previous year of gold but it didnt strike. Has this year. Woo hoo

All out doors.
Last grow I got some pollen off an unknown strain I got from a green fairy and crossed it with my gg so I call her ggrose.
I’ve got that seed growing this summer too. Be Interesting to see what I have created.

I still find it odd they stopped shipping to NZ…
From your list the droolers for me, would be green crack, purple haze and gdp.
I still have a few Choc left also…

Gold Leaf

You will love GL, this strain was a little more finicky to grow (indoors)
The buds are stanky dank, very resinous, with a complex bouquet, rich on the inhale, cough inducing on the exhale, producing a thick noxious cloud,
goes alright in the Mighty also :wink:

Update time:

Week 2

SBR is the stand out for this week, she has caught up to and overtaken the CB.

Nemo, better pull her lucky fin out and start growing or she will be cut from the program :japanese_ogre:

There were a few stragglers this week,
still getting their legs under them and some lil ones with yellowing cotys,
so we added organic nutrients to the bottom of the cups in the form of;
1 part supersoil - 2 parts living soil

Good vibes, keep it green

:v::green_heart: :smiley:

@blackmoon , if you over dry them, you can always add a piece of fruit of your liking for a few hours and start the curing and burping process over. I know that this will work. PM me if you need any help :v:t4: :+1:t4:
