Dear Cannabis Operators, Service Providers, Investors, Key Personnel, and Stakeholders,
Next week (week of March 5, 2018), the National Cannabis Risk Management Association is pleased to announce the kick-off of the webinar portion of our risk management education and resources. Throughout the coming months our service partners and educators will address key components of risk management that directly affect cannabis businesses. This includes cultivators, processors and manufacturers, and retailers of both recreational and medicinal cannabis, as well as ancillary cannabis businesses like harvesting technology, manufacturing technology, and odor mitigation.
In this month’s executive director letter, I illustrate not only how our resources boost your company’s bottom- line, but also the potentially devastating ramifications of not making these often- simple fixes. Whether your business is a small mom and pop or a large enterprise, your NCRMA membership has services that fulfill our mission of normalizing the industry, mitigating loss, and improving your overall underwriting risk (lower cost of insurance).
This coming week, we are proud to announce the first of our webinars featuring our Loss Control & Safety expert, Andy Wright, and his company Protect-All. This first webinar will be available through our website after registering and will detail Protect-All’s value proposition to Cannabis Retailers, Cultivators, and Processors. Later in the week, we will be featuring Billy Rogerson and his company Fifth Wall, who will address the importance of Cyber Security in your operations. This seems especially timely given the recent hack of MJ Freeway.
While many of you receiving this email may not have joined the NCRMA already, we invite you to do so and take advantage of a wealth of risk management tools (See comprehensive list below). The sign-up process is straightforward and can be done online or by contacting our Membership Coordinator, Charlie Hunter, at the following:
