So im going to pull my clones from the cloner and transplant them into canna coco. And hand water no dwc yet. Any advise? What should i soak the canna coco in? Water and some nutrients? How big of pots should i use? I like one gallon then into 5 or 7 gallon. I do use 3 gallon pots also. Last time i took clones out to soon and they dried up fast. Then the other time i sprayed them by accident with folier fert and not just water and they died. Now ive got it figured out in the cloner i want to make it to the pots and not have them die or other issues. Thanks to all the people here in advance!
Here, I hope this helps :

Nice! Canna Coco is what I use now. For me, when the clones are ready I stick them into one gallon pots also. When transplanting from the cloning tray I simply fill my one gallon pot with coco, remove a portion of the soil where the root cube/pod is going to be planted then insert the clone, fill it in nicely and then I feed with a little seedling mix from the nutrient line I use which is General Hydroponics.
I just did this last night. I wish I would have taken pictures so you could see it.
I just mixed in some nutrients in water and just water and then poured it into the brick. Now im going to test it tomorrow with some clones. I like this canna coco its soft like wood sawdust. No wonder the roots grow so easily in this stuff. It seems to water more evenly than ocean forest soil. Lol liking it quite a bit. And the bricks are easy to store.
Ahhh, you have the Coco bricks. I’ve never used though. I use Canna coco from bags. Do you break the bricks down into pots or are they used for hydro?
You wet em down and they grow like a big sponge. Then you have to hand break it up. I added 1 gallon of water and 20ml of clonex seedling nutrients to each brick. And then finished it off with just water.
Busy planting tonight. 3 white rhinos and 11 runtz
VERY nice! Good looking root structure on this bro
That is SUPER cool about those bricks! I didn’t even know they came like that. So how many plants were you able to transplant from one brick?
They look nice and happy Brother. Ready for that grow life, for sure
2 bricks transplanted 12x 1 gallons and 1x 2gallon with about 1 gallon left!
Its 1.43cu² brick instead of the 1.5cu² bag but you can stick this in a cupboard and stash a bunch.
Its was $63 on amazon for 3 pairs of bags.
Say no more! I’m on it! And of course I just bought 12 bags just this past Thursday Oh well! My next move is definitely the bricks.
The footprint of it in brick form is perfect too because every time I get bags of soil it totally depletes the space in my already small veg area. Good find!
See you get it. I like fabric pots because they can fold up and go in cupboard also. You would probably like this then!
HA!! No way! Creative as hell. Does that come all the way down to the ground on the other side so you can sleep in it too?!
Yeah, see that level of compactness is right up my alley!
How long does It take for you to break it out and put away?
Yes it sleeps 4 up top on a memory foam matress and 5 more people down below. I wired it to have a huge RV battery a stinger isolator that charges both batteries at the same time but only discharges the auxiliary battery. And its sub wired into a solar panel system i designed and built the rails and whole yards. Then i wired in 3 waterproof plug sockets and then everything into a 6000k watt a/c to d/c sine wave inverter with twin socket gfi. With remote for shut off st night when up on the tent. I have over 300 hours of mods into this truck. It has running water and a heated shower that connects to the fresh water 30 gallon portable tank.
Dude that’s nuts!! Nice size solar panel too! That my friend is time well spent. So where do the grow lights go??
Seriously though, well done, Prey! THAT’S a project.
Thank you. I supercharged it. Its at 430 hp 7 fuel injectors 9lbs boost and hits 140 on the dyno. Custom map and further tuned by me by auto logging and using a innovative motorsports wideband 02 sensor tunning kit.
To be honest, I don’t understand anything you said past “Supercharged”, Lol! My dad is a big gear head though so I definitely understand the amount of work you put in. My dad use to take 67-68 Camero’s, fix them up from scratch, rebuild the motor, the whole nine. Then he’d race it for a bit, sell it and do it all over again. His newest toy is a 2017 Camero SS that he recently got supercharged. It tops out at 730 HP.
Lol at least your honest. Your dad sounds like a great guy! tell him ill race his camero ss.
This is my track bike
116mph in 1st gear. But sadly tops at 220. I want a kawasaki H2 331 hp hit 250mph in 26 seconds.
I like it so much i have a mug of the bike and a mural in the garage on the wall. Sic machine.
Im not a mechanic. I have 4 brothers that are. But i do my own work and if i cant i have bros. My thing is to be well rounded in everything. I can fix, build, fabricate, restore, create. I grew up poor as hell had to reuse everything or build it myself.
That’s what’s up @PreyBird1! That explains the avatar, nice! Dude, that’s nuts!!! 250 in 26 seconds?!?!
Yeah, I’m actually kicking around the idea of purchasing a bike next spring. I’ve always thought about it but never pulled the trigger. I’m about 98% sure it’s going down this spring though, Lol.
Looking to start small since I’ve never rode maybe like a 600 or something and then by summer up it to a 800 or so.
First time in coco coir? be prepared for massive stalks and roots.
Also you may find you need to up your normal calcium levels a bit as coco coir can bind some of it making it unavailable to the plant. Magnesium too but to a lesser degree in my experience.
Also I’d inflate the bricks with good plain pH balanced water. Some brands used to ship with a rather high ec and should be rinsed, though I imagine that was more of a problem back in the day.
It’s been over a decade since coco was my preferred medium but it works amazingly well… Don’t let it get totally dry though, not much of a buffer between dry pot and wilting. Also with some perlite it becomes nearly impossible to overwater, roots get plenty of oxygen even when it’s saturated.
I’m sure you’ll get a feel for it.
All the best!
