Last week, right before my cath, he told me he was thinking about leaving.

Very bad timing. I was feeling pretty vulnerable because of the concerns I had with my medical shit.
I think maybe he didnt really mean it. He prob thought he would shock me so bad that I would quit growing.
It backfired badly on him.

He started back tracking and back pedalling immediately. But. .

Cuz now our āissueā is not growing. It is loyalty. And as a couple-- are we solution-oriented? Or tuck ur tail and abandone the one u claim to love?
Ive run out of steam. Tired of fighting for my right to be who I am. Ive been this way, basically a non-conformist- my whole life.
Its not like he married Sally Girl Scout and suddenly was married to the butterfly-flick champion.

The first time I attempted to grow, my ex had agreed with the plan and the reasoning and even volunteered her credit card to order seeds (the seed bank only took 1 or 2 types and I didnāt have those).
By the time my first plant was big enough to flip she completely changed her mind and wanted them gone.
I destroyed both plants, disposed of the soil off our property and even burned my grow bags.
She left a week later. Not over the grow, but it didnāt help.
In hindsight, I shouldāve told her to go **** herself when she told me to destroy my plants. But you know what they say about hindsight.

one more thing. next time he tells you he is leaving give him a roll of garbage bags and tell him you got him some matching luggage.

Yeah I totally get that. I cant lose myself in the process. But what is really hard for me is realizing. ā¦30 some years and 3 kids later. . . he doesnt really like the person i am. He disapproves of me.
