Forbes: VA encouraged to talk about medical cannabis more frequently

While they cannot “recommend” cannabis to anybody due to federal restrictions, they are being encouraged to bring up the subject more frequently to “discuss with the Veteran marijuana use, due to its clinical relevance to patient care, and discuss marijuana use with any Veterans requesting information about marijuana.”

While we have come far, there is still a long way to go. I am looking forward to the day where discussing cannabis use with your medical provider will be acceptable, and sound medical advice can be provided.
