Very nice…horticulture is a hobby that will captivate for a lifetime!!!
I cant wait for you to see my queen catlaya… before when my dad had more money then brains he spent 1500 on the “prize winning” plant… flowers are solid magenta and as big as a basketball quite breath taking… and you usually see the bulbs for weeks up till there ready to open… the day before the open you see the slightest strip of magenta around the seam of the bulb… and next morning 2 to 5 usually open over night…m with the mornings dew… so gorgeous… in totall we have over 200 noncatlays. … never really though about cloning it… you should see how they look when you water them
… once there attached to a tree… the leaves start diffusing along the bark in all directions and really holding tight… u pull one off the bark comes with it in most trees… but the roots look like worms and get light brown color when there chillin … 1and a half seconds after you get them wet they flash bright green pretty cool…
She’s looking super healthy!!
You beat me. Thats the biggest so far I’ve seen.
Now im planting the other outdoors today lol…
I see your challenge. Lol
Oh my, no challenge. I have never had a perfect outside grow yet. That’s why I appreciate outdoor growers,. To deal with the elements you have to have your stuff together. But he’ll, lets do it @Slym3r .
What’s the challenge? I got a super freak going it’s in the ground.
Biggest plant ever lol
Ok I’m calling in the soil amendment expert @acereefer . what do I put on this beast to really make her go? Its on
Well if you’re going for a hight I’m gonna be out because I’m going to limit my plant to 8 foot. But I’ll try to dazzle you with volume if I can.
That would be 8 foot from dirt. Not 8 foot from ground in a pot.
I hear about people getting 2 pounds off a single plant. I’m sure its done but in northeast our growing season is tough so I Gave her a heads start. I’m hoping to get a pound of usable meds. I’m going to keep posting here because it seems I don’t see problems till they are bad. Love this site
My biggest plant last year was a orange bud. It was about 10 inches tall when I put it out the second week of May last year. It got about 10 foot tall almost 7 foot across. I got just under 4 pounds of dried cured flower off that plant and threw away about a quarter pound of bud rot
This year most of my outdoor plants are going to be early flowering and they will be finished by the end of September. I’m guessing that they’re not gonna get quite as big because we’re gonna have a few weeks less veg time. But we shall see. Amhurst sour diesel and super freak are going to get very big. But I don’t think they will break that record this year. We’ll see how it goes.
4pounds? My heavens. Well done
im so lost here. what are u guys talking about 50 bucks and $155 electric bills? thats how much ur electric bill is each month? with an indoor grow? wtf?!
Gaslighting grasshopper! @PreyBird1 and other good growers here use the practice to save a hell of a lot of money on their utility bills. I don’t have a link for you or I’d give it…but perhaps if you PM him he will have some links for you to study up on it…
thx ill do that
Dark Heart Nursery has some very good clones, teans, and seedlings. Great genetics out of Humboldt County. All my flowering girls are from Dark Heart.
Accidentally snipped off some Freakshow and decided to look at it with my magnification camera. Check these pics out, I know she’s not ready 4 harvest (this is just 4 fun)
