I’m thinking about starting a grow diary. Is there a specific section of the forum for that purpose or should I simply start it right here?

The weather here has been very hot the last couple of days(~90°) and humidity around 100%. Mostly sunny with thunderstorms and heavy rain.
I found out yesterday that I now have a mild pest problem (spider mites and thrips). I’ve drenched them last night with Wilson Bug-X Out insecticidal soap( triethanolamine salts of fatty acids). We’ll see what happens…
Now if there’s one of you experts out there stumbling across this post, let me know what you think about the way they’re stretching up like they are going insane…plus the way the leaves are curved.

Yep, mites and thrips suck. As far as the drooping leaves it could be a number of different issues. It could be excess nutrients or heat and humidity. It could also be over watered, (rainwater)?

It’s probably heat related, they always look a lil droopy at the end of a sunny day . I was more worried about the way the tallest one is growing up fast with little foliage, almost like a male would normally do. I guess that’s just a normal characteristic of SLH. It might be a good thing since my first attempts at growing canna, 2 years ago, went to crap from bud brot.

Thank you sdoyle! As long as she can support her own weight till harvest time with these skinny branches, the taller the better.Or do you think it would help it getting stronger by topping her?

bushy I hope lol this the back left the lone c99 fem out the regs tied back been in the natural ground 2 wks then in following pic second row from left to right from here is 3 sweet tooth in a line straight up n down an next row to the right gotta cherry garseeya in the middle an the last 3 on the right is a big bad wolf 1.0 up front that completed re veg due to container stress an the back two are diff phenos of O-Hi-O Kush expecting rain today an also this couldn’t be my best year cover crop late but seeded with clover an marigolds already set an takin off still waiting on the vinasse gonna drip it out to see how hot the pile is after initial root b4 4-4-4 on top of bone an compost hitting it with myco bliss an kelp today light kelp so the clover breathe btw I can’t make a post but early in veg sweet tooth put me in the mind of berry maple idk been spraying neem recently before I transition to plant therapy for flower
