So ive spoke with one of our forum friends about copping a handful of seeds so we can do a friendly competition. Maybe @chrisj can talk to nate and see if we can get a gift card for growershouse or something as a prize. But i wanted to see who would be interested in participating if this does become a thing. And also see what you guys would want to grow. It would have to be chosen from preybirds genetics list. So Let me know what yall think. If we get enough people. Ill actually put in the work to plan it.

Maybe one of the strains available in fem and reg to make it easier for people with lower plant counts to participate but still lets people that prefer regs to grow those

@midwestcc420 , I think that is a super idea for community. I will pass that on and I am sure we will get great prizes/giftcards. One thing, by only using @PreyBird1 genetics, it does limit the people that can enter as his seeds are not worldwide, YET! Preybirds genetics should just get a point for voting as he is one of us!!
I think maybe it can be a " growing journal" type cup e.g the picture with the most votes. Just throwing ideas around cause I think this is a great initiative.

Well i planned on buying a bulk amount, like 50 to 100 seeds. So that everyone can get three or 4 seeds. I will buy them from him and mail them out to anyone who wants to participate. So i can pretty much get them where they need to go. Then we set a date like may 1st… which is the usual planting time for outdoors in the US. that way the outdoor growers have the opportunity to flex their stuff too… and i agree with the post pics then vote thing. So Set the end date around 16 weeks from may 1st. Giving everyone a full 8 weeks for veg 8 weeks for flower.
To me its not just about the fun and community building of it. I want to see everyones styles and set ups. Im studying terroir, which is the way the environment effects the growth of cannabis. French word i believe.
Heck if it all goes well enough and we all connect off this. Maybe we can link up a group chat and have a smoke sesh on Instagram together.

8 weeks in flower doesn’t allow outdoor growers to grow outdoors. Unless it’s a fast photo and then it’s more than 8 weeks.
Mine run until October outdoors.
I always have @PreyBird1 genetics in my garden.
Any way to adjust the timing to the end? Or until they would finish?Just curious…
