One of the things I’ve read about is people suspect the current carrying capacity (the limit) of humans to be somewhere around 11-12 billion people without any significant technological or agricultural advances. There will definitely be struggles in the near future around food.

The Food Soil Web is the next ‘green’ revolution. The interface with the natural ‘interwebs’ through mycorrhizal networks and bacterial integration offers a massive amount for growing nutrient dense foods as well as nutrient and flavour dense cannabis, as measured by terpenes, thc, cbd, cbg etc.

Interesting the parallels the article draws between the soil microbiome and the human microbiome. In both cases only a fraction of the bacteria have been identified and can even be cultured successfully.
