Hey guys here’s my gorilla cookies from fast buds. I have a little powdery mildew and some tainted spotted leaves but I’m going to make it I think lol . Going to harvest in a few days . Idk what I did wrong but overall this is an incredible plant . Definitely the frostiest most dense nugs I’ve seen on an auto !!!
Looks fantastic, don’t think you did anything wrong. Looks like you have a little bit of virus damage from I’m guessing to much humidity, but overall they look fantastic!! I certainly wouldn’t turn down trying some lol.
I have 2 packs of that strain from Fast Buds, never put them in because of all the negative reviews I found after I purchased the seeds. They really got a major dissing on Reddit.
I also have two packs each of their Strawberry Banana and two packs of Banana Purple. Think I might give them a go. Please let us know how the fire is. I have always been a little gun shy of autos, because if you make an auto you have to use the Ruderalis strain, so by default the THC goes down. All of these strains were according to the Fast Buds site, show winners.
Beautiful!

Actually this is correct. I have growing this very second a 420 fast buds auto and its literally the most pathetic tiny ass plant. It started to flower at like week 2. Its so small it might make a half an ounce of flower. Its got very little smell i honestly just want to chop it and toss it in the chipper. . . I hate to say that but good hell what a waste of time that was. And this is why i dont like autos. And i have one more auto growing right now. But its from dutch passion so i have higher hopes for that one.
Interesting reviews, and I have heard both sides. Was sitting with a guy yesterday, who has just harvested his first grow, using FastBuds, I was trying to direct him to new local auto breeders, but he is very happy with his outcome of the grow, Orange Sherbet. I am hopefully going to get a sample, but have smoked it before. If my memory serves correctly, it was very decent bud, and must say auto seeds have come a very long way.
It sounds like you’ve done a great job overall with your Gorilla Cookies! Powdery mildew can be tricky, but it’s great to hear the plant is still looking frosty and dense. Even with a few bumps, it seems like you’re going to have a solid harvest!
I have powdery mildew throughout the bottom and what mostly looks like on the fan leaves . I got to be pretty meticulous when trimming this stuff because I don’t want myself or anyone else smoking powder mildew. But thank you!
Ah mate this has made me so excited its untrue I have one of these I have not long planted. Props on the grow them buds look banging ![]()
Spray it with Hydrogen Peroxide.

Would that kill soil mould aswell or just white mildew? Thanks in advance
Soil mold? If your getting mold you have something organic thats rotting and molding. Can you post pics see we can see what you mean? Im using a lot of auto pots and if even a small piece of leave get on top of the soil it will cause mold because the media is always wet using an auto pot. I make sure to remove any that fall.
@PreyBird1 I think the original soil it was planted in was contaminated as when I replanted the soil had grown moss underneath the coco then little bits of mold showed up i have removed them but worried about it coming back, I am tempted to break up the original soil from the base of the plant when I put it in a 5 gallon tomget rid of the moss but dont want to damage the roots. The plant is a titan f1 hybrid from fast buds, 15 days old. Sorry its an rqs seed just checked the pack

I have I guess been lucky but have never worried about mold or fungi or algae on the top of my soil. But I run 7 fans in my tent, 24/7 I never have still air. If you have ever grown organically and inoculated your soil before your grow, and open the bag up the entire top of the pot will be white with fungi. that is what eats and provides the organic nutrients to the plant.

I think another fan and maybe a dehumidifier are in order have had no further problems since I have replanted in a fabric pot with a perlite coco mix so hopefully that will improve things aswell, had some transplant shock aswell but she’s bounced back now.
@sssportsmfg I have been watching a man on YouTube that only grows organic it has really peaked my interest to be honest I am considering going down that route when I am done messing about with autos, I have been following a few journals on here aswell. Lots to learn about amendments and what not before I start that though lol
I actually run a humidifier not a dehumidifier, they like high humidity, just not without constantly moving air. My last run I was going through a whole 4 gal tank a day. Yes I do organic. My last run was with BAS 3.0 organic soil and the autopots 4 gal. The only problem is the organic soil won’t supply for the whole grow at only 4 gal. So I amended it with organic nutes, the Organics Alive brand. turned out great. Before that I ran big 10 gal organic pots with Gaia Green nutes.

@sssportsmfg The man i watch uses gaia green aswell and always ends up with good results, which do you prefer out of the two? Issue is my humidity was at 68 last night and I have a plant in late stage flower so dont want to risk and mould or mildew issues. Was thinking of running a dehumidifier until that ones done as i have snakes in the room and dont think there helping the humidity. This is my first growfor a very long time also the autos are just in perlite/coco professional mix and the flowering plant is in mystery soil i never planted her i rescued her from my mates garden, the soil is deffo not intended for the purpose.
Keep the air moving and there is nothing wrong with 68RH….won’t mold at that humidity if you move the air. I think a lot of people let their tents go still at nightime, I don’t only thing I turn off is the light, even the exhaust runs 24/7. On what I perferred the best of the two, I think I like the Build A Soil 3.0 the best, he has that shit down to a T. Only thing is it gets expensive when you start going up to the 10-15 per plant sized pots.

Oh right, if thats the case ill leave it then had no more mould issues in the soil and have an extra little fan in there for now waiting for a clip on one to come in the post. I have had no issues as of yet with the flowering girl and the buds a growing fast, was more precaution. Yeah he really has, as non organic nutes arent exactly cheap how does it compare to organic it cost me about 90 quid for the full range but that will last much more than the one grow. I like the idea of organic i dont feed anything unnatural to my veggies so dunno why I do with my green really, lack of knowledge and the one already being planted forced my hand really
I also run my fans all night only the lights on a timer I thought that would be the best way, I didnt like the idea of the still air in there overnight as it got cold. Wasn’t sure if this was right or a waste of electric, glad I was right lol
