I’m creating this topic to try to get more of a transparent view on what lights I can use that can help provide heat in the colder months? Along with trying to figure out if a 1000w DE would do me better then a lower watt fixture, the greenhouse I’ll be working in are hoop houses. 8 are about 7 to 8 feet tall are the apex in the middle and the big 3 are about 15ft to 20ft tall at the apex. This is always some of the easiest but most difficult decision to make when it comes to setting up for the upcoming hemp season.

Boy oh boy!, I was running 3 x sf1000 in a 4x4. Took down the 3 and hung what is now known as the beast! This light is just amazing! I’m dealing with a slight heat issue, due to the small space, but all my plants responded and are thriving. It is meant for a larger space for sure with it’s setting of 600, 750, 825, 1000 and 1150! Probably work really good for you.
