Thats what i want to put into my back yard. Id like a rail car burried in the back yard really. But i have been thinking about having a shipping container craned into my yard. I have a few old fuit trees im going to remove and put down a concrete pad. And have a contain brought in. We get high winds here and everything has to be rated for 160mph winds. My neighbor just buil a garage and it 25k in build materials and labor. But the city permits were like 25k also which is insane thats like $53 for a garage! I can get a container for 5k and a concrete mixer for $2700. I think for 10k i can get it all done. Ill drywall and finish all the interior of the container and also make a rooftop garden ontop of it.

Sounds sweet! Few years back I shipped ten mini factories of concrete roof tiles to Guinea, Africa, in shipping containers. You just had to plug in electricity and water and start producing.

Won’t you still have to get permits for it Prey? And do they require you tell them what it is for lol???
