Never even heard of Apple Betty, however been talking today about Apple Pie, a strain that has taken over my local area for the last 2 years, and being offered by all seasoned growers with top reviews. However very PM prone, that I am aware of.

Yes I saw it on Herbies seeds, the reviews were over the top, apparently it is a HUGE producer and very potent. I just got the seeds for her today from Herbie’s seeds. I was a litle worried about getting ripped off saw a ton of reviews saying they got the package but no seeds in it. Well they do the stealth thing, mine came in a cheap wine bottle opener/stopper set and they literally pulled the foam out put the seeds in and glued the foam back down. I though I had gotten ripped too…then I said well gonna tear this package apart first. All my seeds were there. Got the Apple betty, a Malawi from Ace Seeds, and got 7 freebies. Got 5 original glue, 1 Gorilla Blue, 1 Amnesia Haze. I’ve seen some Apple betty grows on Reddit and other places and the yield is huge and potent.

Thanks for the compliment on the plant Chris…she is still chugging along, we had three days of steady rain (which we REALLY needed) But it stopped two days ago, first day was cloudy, (remments of the Hurricane) Then came out bright and sunny and low humidity. My problem has been catillpellers this year. Never had that problem before, went out a couple of days ago and had the tops of several buds completely eaten off, the piller was laying right on top of the damage, fat and full. Well of course it was his last supper cause I immediately smished him lol.

Those little assholes, the caterpillars I mean, cause all kinds of problems and you need to get rid of them before they murder your flowers. They sit an hibernate at night, I usually pick them off one by one early in the morning at first light, shake the stems a bit and they show their faces. Aweful little buggers that we have also been having problems with over the last couple years. Not even my chickens eat them. Bloody suckers, and they hide in the buds, or worse, tunnel into the plants stems. Good luck bud, rooting for you.

PS some damn nice genetics you have lined up. Looking forward to see this apple betty grow.

Chris bought some bacillus to spray the plants with gets here Friday. I’m 100% Organic so use all organic controls. Hope they don’t eat too much before tomorrow lol!. Seems to be on just one plant maybe they like the smell of it better than the others.

Did a little defoil this morning they are fattening up some. We’re having beautiful weather for the next week cool nights, low humidity and low 80’s.
