Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone’s ever tried either SuperThrive or Joyful Dirt? I recently began playing around with cannabonsai plants and am looking for a good all round fertilizer to use on them. This is my first foray into the bonsai part of things, so I’m trying out a couple photos as well as autos to see which works better. …I kinda like the auto idea, even though I’ve never grown autos before, but I thought it’d be something cool to give to smoking friends for a birthday present, or the like. I figure with autos, even a non growing friend could finish it up on their window seal.
…that’s also the reason for the all in one fertilizer; so I can keep the instructions simple.
Oh, on another note: has anyone ever tried Flower Fuel bloom booster? How about Coast of Maine Organic living soil?
Thanks
I use “Superthrive”. I dilute it add molasses to water my seedlings.
I’m in Michigan and do all organic outside grow.
There is a line for super soil amendments thats made in Michigan, all organic, that I use.

Hi,
Do you have only use it for seedlings or through entire grow? …and do you use it every watering, or every other? Also, do you mix it with molasses each time, and if so, how much molasses?
I usually use blackstrap molasses through the growing cycle and use it at a rate of 1.5-2 tbsp/gallon every other watering.
I haven’t tried living soil yet, but I started getting interested in it after an article I read about a month ago and have been doing research on it ever since. I’m thinking of trying Coast of Main or Redbud living soil.
Thanks,
J
I will alternate things throughout my grow.
No, I don’t use molasses every time. At the beginning, If I see plants need a boost of energy, I will give them some. I use about a tablespoon per 2 gallons. Blackstrap, good stuff.
This is some of the amendments I use…
I also use super thrive every feeding. Along with my other nutrients i do 10 drops per gallon. I keep it light.
