Has anyone used this light?

I was looking up the Durolux lights I used last grow for a friend as he didn’t want to buy it from Amazon, and a google search brought up the sellers of the Durolux lights and also this link.

Very interesting, looks like a kick ass light, I like the 1’x4’ configuration because of how uniform the light is in a tent. My last grow I put two 1’x4’ Durolux LED lights in my tent side by side, and the lighting was just fantastic in uniformity. They have several compairison videos on YouTube. Mars Hydro versus this one. the light maps look really good, and the light uses the latest Samsung diodes. Not cheap at $419 but not bad either. It also has the far red LED’s and a dimmer.

Might be old news to many of you, but first time I have seen or heard of this light. Nice 5 year warranty too.

Looks like a good light especially if your looking for a longer thinner footprint like a 2x4.

320 watts… looks like a good light.

However too big for a 2 x 4 tent. It says it’s 46.1 inches long. That leaves you slightly under 1 inch on each side- before the tent gets pulled in by air pressure. I wouldn’t want the light making contact with the tent. I guess it technically fits but I’d be worried about the possible fire danger.

It would be cool if it fit tho

Just measured the t5 I have in my 4x2 it’s also 46 in but I have a spacer so the walls don’t get pulled into the light

Exactly, most of these lights are a almost or perfectly square footprint which is good for a 2x2 or 4x4 tent, but with tents like I have a 5x3 they leave too much low light areas in the ends and corners. These longer lights cover those areas great. Now to find the money lol. Howevery unless your tent is less than it is supposed to be it should fit in a 4’ tent. 4’ is 48".

What would pull the walls into your light? The exhaust fan? Mine does that a little bit, the walls get a little concave with the exhaust fan running, but I just opened up more flaps on the ends and sides and it pretty much eliminated that happening. Keeps the tent cooler too. I never have a too cold problem.

Yes my tent goes slightly negative pressure when it’s all closed up picture of the “spacer” on one end.

I don’t see any problem with it being 1" from the tent on each end, the led’s themselves would be 4 or 5 inches away. I just put a fan on mine blowing down the length of the fixture on the Durolux’s and it kept them cool as can be. I think the drivers are in the middle section and even farther away from the tent, and that is where the heat is on mine.

The floros I have are 432 watt so they should put off more heat then the led as well but I can see why the walls touching the fixture could be a problem if someone has no spacers and negative pressure

Well safety is always the first concern, no fires is a GOOD thing lol. But unless these run way hotter than the 1’x4’s that I have now, I can’t imagine a problem. The ends of the lights are not even close to hot, you can put your hands on them and they are just barely warm. NOW this is not THIS light, it is the Durolux 1’x4’ fixtures I have now.

Thinking about getting a couple of them. Stick my UV fixture from Rapid LED in the middle of them and kick some ass lol.
