They all grow fungus lol…
Yes, but not many produce edible mushrooms at the end of their usefulness as carbon dioxide boosters.
From a place called Gardeners Supply, ordered through Amazon. They have a large selection.
I got a “boot tray” because it is thicker.

Oic, yeah I was looking at this exact one, However decided not to get it because I couldn’t verify what material its constructed with…
100% recycled plastic
I have three in tents and am getting one more for the other 4x2 as well as two for the 4x4. They are drip trays, no plants are directly in contact with them
Thanks for the info!
Hello, Looking to see is anyone is using the FloraFlex 700w grow light thats going for $374.99 ?
I use HLG, KIND LED, and some Rapid LED pucks for my main lights. I have an AC Infinity IONBEAM S16 that is used as supplemental side light.
A friend is using my AC Infinity IONFRAME EVO3 (a backup light for me), as well as one of our HLG 350R Diablo for finishing .
My new experiment: same number of plants in 4x2, but MaryEllen sewed bags together to make one large planter. We made a support from pvc pipe and then wrapped the edge with wire to fasten the sides upright to the supports. We cut the size to fit in the new plastic trays in the bottom of the tent. The bag rests on overlapping plant elevators, it does not rest on the bottom/in water.
just transplanted, they were a bit pot bound and needed a new home @PreyBird1’s Purple Rain (from clone)
I can only imagine the root balls at the end of the grow. Like a giant cube. That could be pretty good actually. Watching for sure!
Those look killer, I will have them in my next run. Seeds will be dropped on the 1st.
This is neat cool and scary all in one! Please post pics of the root cube after harvest!
They make bags like this. Organic growers use them. They never remove the root ball. They just remove the stock the route to turn into nutrients. They add teas and what not. do some beautiful work that way too.
Yes, there are all kinds of sizes, just couldn’t find one to particular measurements.
My kid in NorCal has some tremendously large bags for his outdoor stuff
Damn!!! That’s amazing
I tried several of the commercially available 510 thread-sized cartridge holders, but all of them were too small for the slightly oversized refillable ones that I use. This test tube block not only fits 12 mm test tubes, but works perfectly for oversize vape cartridges. I have two of them in constant rotation as I use one for newly created cartridges and one to segregate the cartridges that need to be cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner before reuse.
very neat!
Honestly I like smaller bag vs larger ones, I got a deal on groez 1gal coco coir cube for .50 each so I bought a case! I’ve tried floraflex coco coir 1gal and am not a fan of theirs tbh. I used to use rockwool and am not a fan as if they dry out there harder to re-hydrate.
I use soil so can’t really relate to the comparisons. When using soil, I have noticed a correlation between surface area and root ball area and ability of the plant to spread out on its own without training
I’m unsure but they do say “bigger roots for bigger fruits”
