Thank you!
They ARE sticky and fragrant.
Looks killer. Man thats a bunch of carts. How much flower did that take to make those?
I’m not sure of the exact amount of flower . I had pressed all this Rosin months earlier, and it had been stored in the freezer.
There is a slight weight loss from the decarboxylation process (those little carbon molecules have to weigh something) it was just a couple percentage points of loss when weighed before and after decarboxylation.
I will be making more and experimenting more, as I have well over 100 g of decarboxylated rosin still not put into cartridges.
Made some more using powerslug optix and a couple of their “industry standard“ cartridges
I’m still quite the novice at this. I have so much to learn.
Looking good
Lol im a novice also at rosin carts. But ive been pressing lots of flower. I had a QP Purple Rain trim and i squished it all. But i tried a few different temps and time lengths and some different pressing techniques but that strain always comes out really dark!
@bullfrog420 says i had it on the press to long or was to hot. So i tried and tried but i get the same result dark AF rosin.
This is an excellent resource for rosin info
Test squish of @PreyBird1 ’s Runtz Slapz from last run. It has been in a controlled dry for just under two weeks. The lesser buds/leaves will get squished today and the prime buds dry for a few more before going into Grove Bags.
The cartridge is from 760Glass, their Powerslug Optix all glass.
I took the test squish (17% return approx) and did the fast decarboxylation in a small borosilicate vial at 220° and it took forty-three minutes for bubbles to cease. (Long-process decarboxylation done with previous experiments/cartridges. Still working with that inventory). Loaded the cartridge with a glass syringe/metal plunger with one inch 14ga blunt tipped needle attachment
Squished-decarbed-cartridge. Two hours
Testing in progress. Heavy testing.
Nice. I like those carts the all glass. Question how mich flower was that? What temp did you press it and how long?
Started with just under 9 g of lower EVERYTHING, Press at 185° with a two minute pre-warm and a two minute press at less than 1000 psi platen pressure. It started flowing before I even started putting any pressure onto it. I only do one press, then I keep all of the “pucks“ and cut the weed out of it, decarboxylate that and use that in oil. I take the used bags and put them in Everclear to extract all the rosin that is in the bag and then reduce that down.
Experimented with cleaning cartridges today, used an ultrasonic cleaner with 91% isopropyl alcohol in it. Every single spot came out of the glass cartridges. The ceramic coils took a couple more cycles. Then they were baked in the oven at 220° for 35 minutes. Refilled them (and some new ones) with a glass/metal syringe and used a cup warmer to draw stuff down into the coil/atomizer. It worked perfectly, they look and draw like they’re new.
@wow_arizona love your work thanks for a good read
glass syringes make life so much easier
all the best and grow well

Wow enjoy reading about making Carts.Know lots of people that vape because there is no smell. Bad thing is they buy in stores and don’t even know what is in it.My friend has a press an makes resin have to see if he wants to try our luck on carts
I’m still learning, but, actively working to increase my knowledge of this process.
The all glass cartridge makes a great difference!
One of three tents going right now. I just had operation on my hand due to lack of function. These plants didn’t get a lot of work because of inability to do anything with my hands before surgery.
Zero pinching, zero fimming, Zero training whatsoever. There was some light defoliation a couple times. I did use and I am continuing to use Bud Buster Pro. They were kept in 1 gallons way too long. They were transplanted a couple of weeks ago into the larger pots and they have really filled well. This is the 4 x 4 tent.
EDIT: front left/right @PreyBird1 White Caviar and Purple Rain, back row dosido
Looks pretty good from here!
Thanks! Go to flower next week
They look great!
Made these today, from rosin pressed from @PreyBird1 Runtz/Slapz
